From beginning to end, Arran watched as Colonel Vehe and Poltergeist were infused with energy by the World Essence Pulse Bracers, filling their bodies with starlight Essence from the spark of origin.

As the guardian of the bracers serving as a conduit, Arran had an intuitive feeling about what was happening within them. It was merely a crude infusion of energy into their bodies to elevate their energy levels, which would increase their power. But this was only a quantitative change with no significant change in the quality of their strength at all.

In comparison, it was like adding more bullets to a gun. Doing this naturally increased the firing rate of the gun, making it even more deadly in combat. But it didn’t effectively enhance its lethality.

The true qualitative change only occurred when the limit of their current bodies was reached and immediately broken with the help of the bracers.

This limit was naturally the genetic limit, or lock placed on most mortal beings. By breaking t

When Arran saw Colonel Vehe and Poltergeist opening their eyes and falling into a daze, he immediately reminded them, “Take your time to adjust to your current state. You might feel disoriented at first but that’s normal. Don’t rush.”Hearing Arran’s reminder, the two humans gradually adjusted to their current bodies.Because of the change in their bodies, a lot of things differed from before chief of them being their perception of the world, which had undergone a very significant transformation.Previously, like all humans, colonel Vehe and Poltergeist possessed a very limited perception of the world because of the innate deficiencies of the human race. These deficiencies force the brain to ignore many pieces of information about the world, causing humans to be very average in many aspects.Be it sight, smell, or hearing, Humans were not very exceptional in utilizing these senses. Their hearing and sense of smell weren’t as good as those of dogs nor could they see as clearly as a fly

But the greatest change that occurred was naturally between the two of them. Their powers had greatly advanced, almost to the point of being unique abilities from before. The information about the change in their powers was more detailed than that about their new perception of the outside world, which allowed Colonel Vehe and Poltergeist to tell what was different about their powers. The first difference was naturally the growth of their physical strength. There was a massive amount of energy contained within the bodies of the colonel and Poltergeist. Such energy was greater than that of a nuclear bomb and seemed as vast as the stars. It made their bodies so strong that it felt like they could punch a hole through the very fabric of space. All this energy contained within the tiny bodies of the two humans gave them a feeling of fullness and they had the urge to vent. But the duo dared not for fear of the devastation they might cause.Colonel Vehe and Poltergeist were uncomfortable wit

Barely a minute had passed since Colonel Vehe and Poltergeist opened their eyes and they had already adapted fully to their new strength.A keen observer, Arran watched silently by the side while all this happened. Although he was anxious about the situation, Arran didn’t hurry and gave them as much time as needed. Finally, when Arran judged that the colonel and Poltergeist were sufficiently adapted, he spoke up, saying, “How are you two doing? Have you gotten a hang of your new powers? Can you explain to me everything about your current state?”Arran’s words pulled the colonel’s and Poltergeist’s attention back to the present, making them remember the situation they were in.Immediately, the two of them responded to Arran and began explaining the changes in them as best as they could. This didn’t take long. In no time, Arran got a grasp of the situation. On this note, Arran could not be any more ecstatic than if he had won the lottery because, in a sense, Arran had. What was the most

Arran, having said his last piece, gestured for the duo to be silent for a moment before turning to look at the battlefield. Reaching out with his mind, Arran sent a message to Joyner and the others who were fighting.“Everyone, listen up. I’ve managed to find some help and I’m sending them your way to help out right now. They should be able to contribute to delaying the enemy while we wait. Their powers are special so accommodate them as much as possible.”Once Arran was done sending the message, he quickly cut off his connection with the others. But Arran’s message had alerted the five of them, causing them to pay attention to his side.During the battle, the five Aeth had naturally been aware of Colonel Vehe’s and Poltergeist’s presence when they first arrived and they also noticed some of Arran’s actions too. But not knowing what he was up to and having to focus on the battle, they couldn’t spare any attention for the trio. While it seemed skeptical what kind of help Colonel Vehe

  • Kingsman Return   Mountain Body

Mountain body…Like a mountain, rough and sturdy…Able to withstand countless weathering…Lofty and imposing…These words, often used to describe a majestic mountain, were now used to describe the attributes of the rule Colonel Vehe applied to himself. With this rule in effect, colonel Vehe’s body grew half a size bigger instantly, and clear veiny lines formed on his skin, giving it a rough appearance like that of tree bark. The color of his skin also turned a light gray as a deep earthy feeling surrounded him.The mountain body rule granted the colonel’s body the attributes of a mountain, making his body strong, which greatly increased his defense and sturdiness, enabling him to withstand the counterforce from the previous punch. With this, he managed to regain his balance in the air and come to a halt, no longer retreating. Not only that, but the sinister power that wanted to drill into Colonel Vehe’s body was also effectively blocked. The colonel was only sent flying a few meters a

Bang!Once again, colonel Vehe tanked a powerful blow from the decadent horror whose massive fist hit like a freighter. The impact rocked the colonel’s body as he felt a massive force like a tsunami wash over him in an attempt to break and scatter his body.In response, colonel Vehe’s mountain body like a stalwart beam, stood steadfast against the oncoming wave.Thick veins formed patterns like earthen grooves, his muscles contorted and wriggled like worms which moved along with the wave of power, delivering and dissipating the force of the punch evenly across the colonel’s entire body. With a single step back for support, the colonel’s hunched spine which he had kept low to receive the blow swiftly straightened, his reinforced bones giving off low whines as the force of the horror’s blow was broken and redirected outside and to the side of Colonel Vehe.Colonel Vehe was excited. This was the first time he had received the decadent horror attack without retreating in the slightest.Hi

The cheerful voice ringing out in the silent intercom drew everybody’s attention to the back of the battlefield. There a lithe figure floated all on her lonesome away from the bustle of the battle. Poltergeist shone with a hazy aura on her body like the distortion of light rays bending characteristically around her. Her eyes were filled with excitement like a child who had discovered a new toy. Seeing the young woman, the Aeth and Colonel Vehe reeled from recollection, only now remembering that she was also present on this battlefield. For this, they could not be blamed since Poltergeist had remained largely silent after being transported to the battlefield. Yet, when it came time to make some noise, an explosive noise did she make indeed. Judging from Poltergeist’s words, the sudden interruption of the decadent horror’s actions was her doing. How she achieved this, no one knew. But they weren’t giving up this chance to strike heavily on the horror at all so after recovering from

Unable to contain himself, colonel Vehe voiced his doubts, “It’s impossible for anything to survive that, right?” The implications of the colonel’s words were subtle. On the surface, it seemed like he was saying that the decadent horror would die after being hit with such a powerful move. Yet, it also implies that Joyner who was also caught in the explosion also had no chance of survival. For him who didn’t know the extent of their enemy's true abilities nor the height in which battles like these could reach, it was already cautious of him seeing as he didn’t outright claim the battle to be over and the enemy defeated. Yet, no one cares for the colonel’s words or thoughts. Beatrice simply said, “Don’t relax yet. The battle isn’t over yet.” “If this horror is anything like the last one then something like this is not enough to take it down. The same goes for Joyner… he wouldn’t be stupidly taken out by his ability.” Sable who along with the others had converged around Beatrice and

The battle which would later come to be known as the Apocalyptic Battle For Earth’s Survival ended in a dour note. This battle lasted for 4 hours and many lives were lost. Arran was sucked away into the void fissure which closed immediately after, but not before Poltergeist had managed to latch onto his thigh for whatever reason. Seeing Poltergeist clinging onto him, Arran was confused before suddenly developing the urge to retort vehemently. But he wouldn’t have that time for things were just starting to go very wrong. The space within the void fissure was just that… a literal void where nothing existed but the vast expanse of space. But the stability of this void was seriously compromised allowing for multiple fractures in space and time to open up in the surrounding void. Due to the force of the vacuum that pulled arran and Poltergeist into the void fissure, the two of them were barreling through this space uncontrollably without the ability to stabilize themselves. Arran was too weak at the moment after having all his strength drained from him while releasing the Earth’s World Will. As for Poltergeist, she was also weakened. This was because she

The awakening of the world's will of earth was not something Arran had ever expected much less that its awakening would have to do with him. It was then that Arran realized the cause of everything. In Arran’s hand, Soran lay there quietly, no longer trembling as before as if it had gone to slumber. But when Arran thought of how everything that just happened was all because of it, Arran was shocked beyond belief. Arran thought that he already understood what Soran was capable of yet only now did he know that he was yet to scratch the surface of all of Soran’s capabilities. Soran’s ability, Triumph, granted Arran the means to win. Before Arran thought it only made it so that he could meet his enemies power blow for blow regardless of the difference in the realm. But what if there was a situation where Arran was up against an opponent whose gap in the realm was impossible to cross logically? For instance, how would Soran ensure Arran’s victory if he was up against a god as a mere mort

While it was a pity that he couldn’t kill Kasack, arran realized the urgency of the situation. Whatever Kasack did before his disappearance, it was bad… very bad. In his madness, Kasack did something drastic. He completely unleashed the power of the old one sealed within the dark star planet. Lying within the core of the dark star planet was the old ones' power. This power was meant to be given to his chosen champion as a means to fight the Aeth civilization. It was the strongest legacy left behind by the old one which could not be inherited directly. This power was only meant to be used at the critical time of the conflict with the Aeth civilization. It was Kasack’s greatest trump card one that he was reluctant to ever use. Yet at this moment, In the face of death, Kasack unleashed this power knowing full well the repercussions of his action. Moan! Following Kasack’s mad ravings, a loud wailing moan echoed throughout the surroundings sounding like an old machine shutting down or large gears slowly going still. In the chaos of the battlefield, this sound was so conspicuous that it forced everyone to notice it. Gradually, the fighting stopp

Kasack was sent flying after being hit by Arran. His chest was sunken and bloodied from the barrage of staff thrusts delivered to him and a mouth full of blood burst from Kasack’s mouth. Kasack was severely damaged, his injuries extremely grevious. But the most severe blow done to Kasack was the blow to his mind and ego. Despite everything, despite all the preparations and plans he had made, Kasack still hadn’t succeeded in killing Arran, yet it was he who was left battered and on the brink of death once again. This thought, Kasack could not bear it. His previous shame which he had hidden beneath a well of anger and rage resurfaced once more, bursting onto the surface like an erupting volcano. Aaaahhhhhh!
