Councilwoman Henrietta had a scheming smile on her face. While every other council member were busy watching Hilda's match and appreciating her stellar performance as they got ready to compete with each other one who would get to take her in as their disciple, Councilwoman Henrietta stealthily made her way towards the enlightened old immortal who was standing relaxedly at the back.
Currently, the enlightened old immortal was holding his flagon of wine in his hand as he took occasional swigs of the toxic nectar inside, which never seemed to run out. At the same time, he had set his long cane by the table beside him and with his free hand he was reaching out to the plate of snacks that carried a rich and flavourful aroma before swiftly putting them in his mouth.
Noticing Councilwoman Henrietta, who was making her way towards him with that weird glint in her eyes, the enlightened old immortal was immediately on guard.
