The tone of voice that Clyde used to speak to Eris was one that showed a total lack of respect that he was otherwise trying to come across as.
Naturally this pissed of Eris and her group but for the sake of peace and also because they truly did not want to have anybody sabotaging their efforts during the assessment, none of Arran's group said anything at all.
Besides, it was not like they could not work with Clyde at all just because he was disrespectful and bore clear misgivings against one of their group members. Like they say it was better to keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
With that mentality in mind, Eris ignored Clyde's offense and instead said, "Well then we do have to talk about this issue. Seeing as both our groups are headed in the same direction then our objective is most likely the same."

A rough headcount of the number of the total number of dire beasts located here would place them at a couple of tens totaling about fifty.Like it was said most of the dire beasts here were class five with the number of class six being under ten and the class seven dire beasts being only three in number. So in order to achieve the goal of luring away some of these dire beasts and keeping them at a level where both groups would be able to deal with them given their abilities, Eris's group would have to lure away about half of the total number of dire beasts with the class six and seven being evenly distributed between them.At least if there was one thing that the group was thankful about it was the fact that there were no class eight dire beasts that were drawn to this place. Right now Arran along with Shandra had already made their way to a place that had previously been agreed upon by the group to set the ambush. It was here that Arran was required to make preparations and lay traps so that when Eris and the rest lured the dire beasts here, they would have a rather easy time in dealing with them.Taking out one piece of equipment after another from the bag of holding, Arran and Shandra immediately got started in setting up their preparations.In fact, they did not have to do much as most of the traps and contraptions had already been previously assembled before they got here.
