Setting Off

Arran got up bright and early in the morning and prepared for the day's adventure. By the time the sun shone brightly in the sky, Arran prepared and was just waiting for Eris and Charmy to arrive.

Arran’s insides were twisted into a ball from the constant surge of nervousness that threatened to consume him. He and the girls had not set an exact time when they would meet to go visit their parents.

Basically, Arran didn’t have to get up so early since the cadets were supposed to be taking a break. But because he was too nervous, Arran couldn’t sleep very well, and he was far from relaxed right now.

Last night, Cain had told Arran everything he knew about Eris’ and Charmy’s families, from who their parents were and how many siblings they had. He even went further to tell Arran about every close public acquaintance the two of them had and the history of any relationships they had ever had that he knew of.

This was the first time Arran was meeting the family of any girls he was interested
