Arran was willing to listen to the young man, so he immediately started talking.
"First of all, let me say this. You are extremely terrible at keeping a low profile."
The first thing that came out of the young man's mouth was an insult to Arran. This caused Arran's brows to tighten into a frown. But he did not say anything.
Although Arran was confident that he had cleared his tracks well and hadn't drawn too much attention to himself, the young man in front of him was proof that he had not exactly done as good a job as he thought
Seeing as Arran did not react to his insult in any manner, the young man became more confident and boldly started saying.
"Indeed, just as I said, you suck at keeping a low profile. Did you think I was the only one following throughout the station? With the way you were going around looking through the stalls and buying whatever caught your eye, anybody could tell you were a complete novice on his virgin journey throu

Arran and Trapp introduced themselves while shaking hands. It was at this moment that the two of them could be said to be formally acquainted. After the introduction, Arran looked at Trapp and said, "Listen, brother, I hear what you say and indeed, it will be a problem for me if I am harassed constantly by all sorts of people.""While I am confident in being able to handle any issues, I would rather stay away from problems if I can help it. I could really use a hand, but I don't see why I have to go under your wing in order to receive your protection.""I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not exactly afraid for my life and I don't even have to fear that any harm would come to me. Why then do I have to call you big brother?"Arran's words were clear. This time, he was straightforward with his words, not beating around the bush at all.Responding to Arran's words, Trapp placed his palm on Arran's unoccupied shoulder and said, "Young man, s
Arran eventually bit the bullet and took Trapp up on his offer. Currently, he and Trapp were making their way towards the entrance to the main area of the station. As the two of them walked in the crowd, Trapp went back to donning his heavy cloak with his hood placed over his head to hide his face. As for Arran, he had dug up a black scarf from somewhere in his storage, which he used to cover his face.Having learned from his previous mistake, Arran didn't want to be as ostentatious as before and draw attention from others. As for Trapp, it seemed like he was already used to hiding his face a lot, as it had already become a norm for him. Arran felt that Trapp did this not just to hide his handsomeness. It was probably an occupational hazard since, due to the shady nature of his work, Trapp was used to being hidden. This made Arran more curious about what Trapp did for a living.Anyway, Arran was not too concerned about this. As long as Trapp did not try to harm
Arran and Trapp joined the queue and waited for their turn to register. The line was really long due to countless people constantly trying to enter the main area of the station. The registration process to enter the main area of the station was fairly simple. One just needed to provide a public identity that could be investigated before you would be allowed access to the main area. This was probably a way to keep track of everybody who enters the main area, so no matter one true identity that is hidden in the dark, they had to at least provide a public identity that is easily investigable. This was the only condition, and it was non-negotiable.Hearing such a strict requirement to be granted access to the main area, Arran was even more curious about what specialties the main area offered. From all the fuss over registering and paying money to buy a ticket, there ought to be something truly remarkable inside if it could draw so many people from inside the ether a
"Say, Trapp, I'm confused... if he already had a clean identity, why did he still have to take the risk of forging another identity just to enter?""It seems rather redundant and unnecessary, doesn't it? Not to mention highly risky and unwise.""What exactly is it that pushed him to do such a thing?"This was the point that confused Arran the most. The individual clearly had a clean identity, so what was the point of faking another to enter. In the end, his actions were discovered, and he was still forced to bring out his real identity.Arran didn't understand the dynamics of the whole matter, so he asked the expert, Trapp. It was at this moment that Arran also realized how good it was to have Trapp accompanying him. At least, with Trapp around, if there was anything Arran didn't understand, he could just ask him.Trapp also had this feeling that he had become Arran's personal search engine. Though it was a bit distasteful to him, there was
"The universe sanitation organization that is made up of janitors is your go-to people when you want something to clean up. The exact definition of their job description is very broad. Some might call them common cleaners, while others consider them to be scavengers. Either way, they are professionals when it comes to what they do. If it wasn't for the fact that the universe sanitation organization does not have a lot of experts, their status would not fall below organizations like the mercenary organization."Trapp was still explaining to Arran about the universe sanitation organization. He continued, saying. "The universe sanitation organization, or the sanitary department, as they are more popularly called, has too many members in their ranks. That coupled with them being only a third-rate organization that exists on the goodwill of others even if they are highly regarded will not have much status in this station. Their members will only be able to enjoy the most ba
Arran was surprised at the commotion that sprang up just because he had brought out an origin gem. he was confused because he did not understand what the whole commotion was about.Even Trapp surprisingly expressed his disbelief at Arran as soon as he saw the origin gem. With shock, Trapp said, "Damn brother, I knew you were quite well off, but I didn't expect you to be capable enough to bring out an origin gem just to pay for your ticket. That's a whole origin gem not the shavings of one... that's so extravagant! Not that I'm complaining or anything, it's just so surprising."Trapp could not control his emotions, and there was a clear tremble in his voice when he spoke.Arran was frowning. Although he didn't understand what all the fuss was about, he was not so dense that he couldn't realize he had done something unbelievable.Arran's confusion was written clearly on his face and Trapp quickly caught on to it. Not too surprised anymore by Arran's
Just as Arran was considering Trapp's offer, one of the soldiers guarding the platform suddenly addressed them and said, "Excuse me sirs, but can you hurry and move along? There are still a lot of people waiting in line behind you two to enter."The guard reminded Arran and Trapp that they were holding up the line and they should move along. Usually in this kind of situation, Arran and Trapp would have both been thrown to the back of the line to delay everybody. But this did not happen. Instead, when the guard spoke to Arran, there was even a respectful tone in his voice. It could be seen that even the guards of Fort Crawford, who could be quite unreasonable at times, could only behave cautiously around Arran. They thought that Arran being able to bring out so many precious gems one after the other meant that he probably had a powerful background. And not only did Arran have a background that was so powerful, but his status was not low there at all. If not, he wouldn't
The bold warning text written in bright red letters revealed Arran's encrypted status to everybody gathered at the entrance platform. This caused a wave of silence to fall among everybody there. This was because the shock they just received was more than when Arran had revealed his incredible wealth. But the most shocking part of all this was seeing the seal of the Aeth Royal Council emblazoned boldly on the warning notice. This meant that not only was Arran's identity special, but the force he belonged to was the overlord force of the entire realm, the Aeth Civilization.Immediately, dread filled the entire platform, and people's faces paled in fear. This was especially so for those who had developed hostile intentions towards Arran before. At the same time, they were relieved that they didn't reveal their intentions at all.Or so they thought...Out of everybody there, the only person who was still behaved relatively normal was Trapp, who looked at Arra
