Sadie stared at her opponent, and her killing intent started to overflow. Her eyes went cold and icy, giving off a chilling glare that could freeze others in place after taking a glimpse at her.

An icy sensation spread through Sadie's limbs, traveling to her head and entering her brain. Her thoughts receded, and she entered a frighteningly calm state. Before, Sadie's eyes were filled with confusion and intelligence, but now those icy blue eyes were as calm as a pristine lake without any ripples at all.

Sadie's expression was deadpan and emotionless.

The swordsman frowned when he noticed the change in Sadie. For once; he looked very serious as he stared warily at Sadie. as if understanding what had happened to Sadie; the swordsman sighed regretfully and spoke up in a solemn tone.

"You're quite vigilant, aren't you?"

"Do you really have to go this far? Can't we just end things simply without creating a big mess?"
