If they were to fight head-on Arran was very confident of being able to defeat Mouse especially after seeing all the moves and abilities that Mouse had employed in order to take him down. Even if Arran accounted for any abilities that mouse had not yet used against him and if he were to treat whatever ability that was with an excess amount of caution, Arran was still at least 80% confident of being able to defeat mouse, that was why he decided to save his strength for when he would have to eventually contend with Clyde and his group for that ripening bud.
That's right it was not because Arran held contempt towards Mouse that he was holding back against him, no, it was because even till now when the situation had already come under control and young master Sharlene's group were about to

Hello everyone, it's your favorite author here. So this is where this book will be ending for now. The story is not over for Arran and his companions. There are many more adventures to share with everybody. But I decided to end this book here because I felt that it had reached a mature point and it was time to evolve the story to something more. From the sequel book onwards, it will no longer just be a story about a boy searching for answers alone but Arran will be accompanied by other main characters from my other stories. Arran was sucked away into the void fissure which closed immediately after, but not before Poltergeist had managed to latch onto his thigh for whatever reason.
