After Arran and the rest of the group separated to go do their own things, Arran took a stroll around the town market.
As Arran was walking through the market he took the time to carefully observe some of the wares on display. Whenever he saw something that interested him, Arran would stop to inquire about the function and use of that thing.
Like this Arran spent a few minutes just going around the shops.
It was not like Arran did not want to make any purchases, it was just that Arran finally realized that he had no way of determining if something was valuable or not.
If there is one thing Arran had learned when it comes to shopping in the free market, it was to never believe the honey-coated words of the sellers who would praise their wares to the high heavens until you did not know how you had been swindled into buying things you don't really need nor want and still make you feel like you had lost out not buying more from them.
That was why Arran

The dark figure led Arran to a corner of the market that was almost close to the entrance of the residential areas of the wild grass town. Here there was a wall that separated the residential area and the market and on top of the wall, a few guards in uniforms patrolled. The dark figure led Arran stealthy along the wall while he skillfully avoided the guards above. like that the two of them reached a part of the wall that was connected to a sewage drain. The dark figure lifted the bars of the drain and gestured for Arran to enter.Smelling the foul air that was coming through the drain Arran protested, "Really, you couldn't find us another entrance that was more ingeniously hidden and did not need to wade through the sewers?"The dark figure said, "Well this is one of the few entrances that does not need us to pay a toll. It's either this or we have to hitch a ride with the porter that transports swill out of the town. There is an entrance there th
Kingsman Return The Underground Market
By the time the gates to the underground market opened, Arran had already spent ten wet minutes taking a bath he did not sign up for. When he stepped out of that waiting room, Arran's hair was untidy and his clothes wrinkled but dry. Thankfully the managers of the underground market were not so heartless as to leave them walking around all wet and bothered, though Arran suspected that such generosity was meant to save some face for themselves if nothing else.Inside Arran was still seething about the whole darn affair but his discontent was mainly directed at himself since all this could have effectively been avoided if he had just stuck with Eris and Charmy, but no he had to go ahead and be a wise-ass, leading to his current predicament. And then there was the unreliable guide...Looking at Fizz who was trailing behind him, Arran could not help but sigh from the pitiful state he was in compared to himself.Right now the dark cloak that Fizz was we
Kingsman Return Gambling
The game that Fizz took Arran to see was one he was relatively familiar with.As Fizz explained the rules Arran realized that it was one of those games where one would guess on the probability of the dice turning up high or low. Except for the props being different, it was basically the same thing. The dice that was being used was unlike the square six-sided dice Arran was more familiar with. This dice was a kind of hexadecagon... a sixteen-sided polygon... but unlike a typical hexadecagon this one bore a very similar resemblance to a tesseract shown in mathematical models back on earth.Generally, a tesseract is the four-dimensional rendering of a cube and if seen up close it would look like there was a cube inside of another cube.Well in the case of these dice when seen from up close it would look like there was another hexadecagon inside of a hexadecagon. Each of the sides of the tesseract had a number both on the inside and the outside
Kingsman Return Cleaning House
The dealer immediately got two dice and placed them in the small cup that isolated all forms of detection before handing it to Arran for him to give the dice a good shake. In this particular game, the dealer decided to use normal dice that had not been specially treated by the gambling house to see how good Arran's luck was.As this sort of game heavily relied on one's luck, the gambling house would usually have the means to prevent people with incredible luck from winning a lot of money from the house. This is why the dealer only used regular dice to test Arran's luck. When Arran got the cup he pretended to observe the cup while also trying to use different means to see if he could break the restriction on the cup.The dealer and all those who frequented the gambling den were gloating at what they thought to be Arran's ignorance as they ridiculed him silently in their minds. After pretending for a while more, Arran looked at the dealer as i
Kingsman Return Confrontation At The Den
The more bets Arran won the more the dealer and the rest of the players knew that something was very wrong and just as the dealer was about to call foul Arran suddenly stood up.Stretching his body, Arran said, "Well that was a very good game. It would seem that my luck is very good today, but seeing as I have had a little too much fun and I am already running late for an appointment I guess this is where the fun is going to end."Saying so Arran turned to Fizz and asked, "Hey Fizz where do I go to if I want to cash out on these plates?"In Arran's hands were small square chips that had some clear markings drawn on them. These chips were called plates and they were what all the gambling dens used when betting. Earlier Fizz had helped Arran to exchange some of his money into these plates when he had expressed interest in gambling.Just as Arran was making his way to Fizz and was preparing to leave the den, the dealer who had been dealing for Arran suddenly
Kingsman Return Boss Danzo
When the people in the den heard the owner of this voice say these words, they all had different reactions. The people who were here just to watch the show and generally had nothing to do were all wondering who the owner of the voice was to be able to say such words. They wanted to know which side he was on and what his addition would do the whole situation. On the other hand, Arran was very happy that somebody had taken the time to step up and interfere not because he had been afraid, nor was it because he knew the person whom the voice belonged to. no, it was simply because, from the tone in which the person had spoken along with the reactions of the dealer and his goons, Arran could already guess that whoever had spoken was someone of authority in this den.If that was the case then Arran welcomed their presence wholeheartedly. As for the dealer, he for sure knew the person to whom the voice belonged, and for that reason, he knew that he was screwed.
Kingsman Return Interrupted By A Slap
Arran looked at boss Danzo and there was respect in his eyes as he did so.Arran respected boss Danzo for being able to overlook small profits for bigger gains. If boss Danzo had been like Philip the dealer and had only focused on recovering the loss that the gambling house had incurred he would not have been worthy of being the boss in charge of the whole group of gambling houses. But boss Danzo did not do this and was instead focused on getting the method that Arran had used to cheat in the first place proving that he was really worthy of being called the boss.Arran had to say that if this was a normal case he would have been tempted into entering some form of partnership with boss Danzo so as to get a share of the profits that would be derived from using his method. If his method was one that was easily replicated Arran had no qualms about selling it to boss Danzo for a reasonable price but sadly his method was one that was unique only to himself due
Kingsman Return Being Taught A Lesson
The lofty status of boss Danzo that usually gave him a high and mighty image was completely destroyed right now as he crawled on the ground while spewing large mouthfuls of blood as he stared lifelessly at the girl in front of him.Nobody knew why the mere sight of this girl would set off boss Danzo like it just did nor did they know what lesson she was talking about but for the goons who had already surrounded this girl, they knew that this was a chance to impress boss Danzo. It did not cross their minds that someone who was able to send boss Danzo who was an expert in his own right flying across the room would be a very tough opponent to deal with but even if they did they dismissed that fact by calling it a sneak attack on boss Danzo when he was least prepared. With superior numbers to buff up their confidence the goons immediately started cursing in a fierce and threatening manner."Who is this little shit that appeared out of nowhere? Arran was sucked away into the void fissure which closed immediately after, but not before Poltergeist had managed to latch onto his thigh for whatever reason. Seeing Poltergeist clinging onto him, Arran was confused before suddenly developing the urge to retort vehemently. But he wouldn’t have that time for things were just starting to go very wrong. The space within the void fissure was just that… a literal void where nothing existed but the vast expanse of space. But the stability of this void was seriously compromised allowing for multiple fractures in space and time to open up in the surrounding void. Due to the force of the vacuum that pulled arran and Poltergeist into the void fissure, the two of them were barreling through this space uncontrollably without the ability to stabilize themselves. Arran was too weak at the moment after having all his strength drained from him while releasing the Earth’s World Will. As for Poltergeist, she was also weakened. This was because she

World Will
The awakening of the world's will of earth was not something Arran had ever expected much less that its awakening would have to do with him. It was then that Arran realized the cause of everything. In Arran’s hand, Soran lay there quietly, no longer trembling as before as if it had gone to slumber. But when Arran thought of how everything that just happened was all because of it, Arran was shocked beyond belief. Arran thought that he already understood what Soran was capable of yet only now did he know that he was yet to scratch the surface of all of Soran’s capabilities. Soran’s ability, Triumph, granted Arran the means to win. Before Arran thought it only made it so that he could meet his enemies power blow for blow regardless of the difference in the realm. But what if there was a situation where Arran was up against an opponent whose gap in the realm was impossible to cross logically? For instance, how would Soran ensure Arran’s victory if he was up against a god as a mere mort

Soran left Arran’s hand, trembling powerfully in the air and creating a buzz of vibrations that spread into the surroundings. Arran was shocked by this not expecting it at all. Just as Arran was about to reach out to Soran to grab him, he suddenly paused as a feeling overcame him. Something was calling out to arran. Even more surprised, Arran looked around swiftly but he couldn’t find anybody around him. Then he thought of something and turned back to look at Soran who continued to tremble in the air. Indeed, just as Arran thought, as he focused on Soran, that call rose in his heart once again. It was as if something was reaching out to him through Soran from a mysterious place. Arran didn’t know who this person was but he knew what they wanted… to be freed. Arran didn’t give it much thought at all — there wasn’t anything to think about. The situation right was already dire. With the opening of the old man’s eyes, the defense line was broken not only on Arran’s front but also on that of the Earth. The barrier of distorted space-time surrounding Earth after its barrier shattered was also broken through. Having lost consciousness, all of them were free falling into the earth at this moment. They were unable to control their descent and were hurtling toward Earth at an incredible speed. Kasack vanished from the battlefield, scooped away into the safety of the dark star planet causing Arran to miss his chance at finally ending this threat once and for all. Arran was frustrated not knowing when he might ever have another chance like this again. But he didn’t wallow in his frustration for long. In no time arran calmed down and analyzed the situation. While it was a pity that he couldn’t kill Kasack, arran realized the urgency of the situation. Whatever Kasack did before his disappearance, it was bad… very bad. Looking at the visage on the surface of the dark star planet, Arran’s mind was met with a deluge of corrupting thoughts that tried to erode his mind. Even his resistance granted by his reality gate against mental pollution was not able to stop this corruption forcing arran to turn away from the planet. Yet even then, a chilling and slimy feeling lingered in Arran’s mind as his consciousness was continually under attack. Only with the combination of the World E

Final Death Throes 2
In his madness, Kasack did something drastic. He completely unleashed the power of the old one sealed within the dark star planet. Lying within the core of the dark star planet was the old ones' power. This power was meant to be given to his chosen champion as a means to fight the Aeth civilization. It was the strongest legacy left behind by the old one which could not be inherited directly. This power was only meant to be used at the critical time of the conflict with the Aeth civilization. It was Kasack’s greatest trump card one that he was reluctant to ever use. Yet at this moment, In the face of death, Kasack unleashed this power knowing full well the repercussions of his action. Final Death Throes
Kasack was sent flying after being hit by Arran. His chest was sunken and bloodied from the barrage of staff thrusts delivered to him and a mouth full of blood burst from Kasack’s mouth. Kasack was severely damaged, his injuries extremely grevious. But the most severe blow done to Kasack was the blow to his mind and ego. Despite everything, despite all the preparations and plans he had made, Kasack still hadn’t succeeded in killing Arran, yet it was he who was left battered and on the brink of death once again. This thought, Kasack could not bear it. His previous shame which he had hidden beneath a well of anger and rage resurfaced once more, bursting onto the surface like an erupting volcano. Aaaahhhhhh! Kasack didn’t know who was screaming so desperately. In his daze, he heard a voice filled with fury and indignation. His mind was foggy from the impact of Arran’s blows and the bruise on his pride and ego. When the fog finally cleared a little, that is when Kasack realized that
