When he finally came to realize this, Hyde started to feel a lot of different emotions welling up in his chest, making him feel stuffed and uncomfortable. Among these emotions, there was unwillingness, anger, annoyance but most of all, Hyde was just feeling disappointed.

All of Hyde's feelings were too mixed and complicated that even he himself didn't really know what to make of them, but if there was one thing Hyde knew, it was that his defeat was well deserved.

Hyde did not hate Arran after losing to him, neither did he blame him for eliminating him from the tournament. Although it was a pity that he wouldn't be able to continue on for the rest of the ceremony nor would he be able to fulfill the wish of his master, still, despite all this, Hyde didn't hate Arran at all.
