Like any other planet, the center of a planet was its core that was filled with heat and magma. this would also mean that there would be volcanoes appearing on the planet.

In the case of the Aeth mother planet, all its volcanoes are located on the ocean and it was through these volcanoes that some of the smaller islands were formed.

Actually, all the floating landforms on the planet were originally formed on the ocean like any other planet in the universe. It was only with the influence of heavy magnetic activity that caused the landforms to be uprooted from the ocean when they had reached a certain scale and provided certain conditions were met.

This was also why there were no active volcanoes on the floating landforms with all previous volcanoes having died out. Still, this did not mean that there were no more volcanoes on the ocean.
