Ever since the fight began after Arran displayed his new weapon, Kasack had been feeling a stifling amount of emotions welling up inside him, all of them negative.

Anger, shame, fear, insecurity… all of these emotions built up within Kasack as arran successfully parried each and every one of his attacks while gradually gaining the upper hand and successfully counterattacking occasionally.

It didn’t matter what attack or ability Kasack threw at arran, the Aeth was always able to break through it forcefully which drove Kasack to madness.

It was all that accursed staff’s fault!

Kasack blamed the current situation on Soran because, without the staff, arran would have fallen before him by now. This is what Kasack believed… if Arran had never gotten his hands on Soran he would have died by Kasack’s hand.
