As soon as Councilman Homer announced the start of the chosen ceremony and the beginning of the first elimination round, all the participants were like arrows that had been fired loose from a tightly strung bow, shooting forward with such speed into the ocean and bringing a start to this survival race.
All at since every participant used their special methods to try to cross the ocean. Some of them brought out boats that they had prepared for themselves during the preparatory period and those that had formed temporary teams did their best to use their powers to accommodate each other. As soon as Arran opened up his senses to feel the magnetic pulse of the mother planet, it was like a door to a whole new world was open for Arran to walk through.
