[Aim: The system will help you earn money and become the lead personality around the world.]
"What... What is this?"
Andrew tried to touch the screen in front of him but it just went through like a hologram.
"I don't get it! Am I dreaming?"
As he contemplated his sanity, his phone dinged.
A notification from his bank that said his balance of nine zeroes arrived and blew his mind off.
"One billion dollars! Is it true~?"
"System, are you still there?"
[Yes, host. It is definitely a truth.]
"Hey, system. Can I... use the money however I want?"
Andrew asked, refreshing his phone to make sure that it wasn't just a glitch in the banking system.
[You can use your money however you want, host.]
Andrew 's eyes widened and twinkled in surprise and elation.
A hundred dollars was already a fortune to him.
What more if there were millions of dollars in his bank now? It was surreal.
To test if the money he got was real, he immediately went to the nearest vending machine and chose the drink that he had been wanting to drink.
He couldn't afford it before so he immediately bought two of them.
When he tapped his card, he gasped when the expensive drink fell and it was bought.
"It's true! Holy shit, I'm rich!"
He exclaimed and laughed in happiness while holding the can of flavored beer like a trophy.
If someone saw him, they would think he had lost his mind.
[Balance: 1,000,000,010 dollars
[Body: 15 (Weak)
[Mind: 20 (Normal)
[Reputation Point: 0]
[Task: loading...]
Andrew were confused of the reputation point and the task.
How should he get the point and trigger the task?
He knew it must benefit him.
A huge smile spread on his lips.
Now he got the system, he would know how to run it sooner or later.
He was starving, so he decided to look for a perfect place to have dinner and enjoy himself.
And while he drove his bike, he saw a huge building that was very familiar to him.
It was the bar that he worked on before.
This bar was only for rich people.
He often found himself jealous of them whenever he served them.
He decided to try it there as a customer.
Just as soon as he parked his bike at the parking that was only for expensive cars, the guards looked at him with suspicious eyes.
"What are you doing here, you poor brat? We don't have an open position for a janitor,"
One of the guards said, laughing together with the other.
"I'm here to eat,"
Andrew answered firmly.
These guards never changed.
They were the same guards who bullied him before and often made his job harder by kicking the bucket of water and spilling them on the floor.
But when there were rich customers, their behaviors would change as if they were the most proper person on Earth.
Rocky, the taller and bald guard, snorted upon hearing him say that.
He looked at him from head to toe,
"You must have hit your head somewhere, boy. Look at yourself, you just look like grime on a rich man's shoes."
"Just let me in. I can afford all the meals here."
"Hey, maybe you could try again with a more formal disguise and we'll think about letting you in, okay?"
The two laughed at him again loudly.
Andrew was just wearing a worn-out polo shirt and pants that had a hole but were only patched up by Henry.
He looked poor, there was no doubt in that.
But he had money.
He had ten billion dollars.
"Let me in, or else, you'll regret it."
Instead of getting angry, the two only looked at each other and laughed full of amusement.
"How about you get out of here before I throw you out myself straight in the trash?"
"Oh, that's a good idea. That's where he belongs."
He couldn't get in.
These two knew how poor he was and that he couldn't even afford extras on the menu.
He could only glare at the guards.
He wanted to teach them a lesson, but he didn't know how.
"What's happening here? Are you bullying a potential customer?"
An angelic voice and a beautiful girl suddenly showed up and meddled in their conversation.
The two guards froze as if they were hypnotized.
"Miss Grace Anderson," Jimmy, the other guard, said with heart eyes.
"We're not bullying him, Ma'am. We're pushing him away.
He seems to have gotten more ridiculous because how could he, a past worker here, who had no single cent, could afford to eat here?"
Grace Anderson, was a rising star.
She was very famous at their school because of her beauty and talent.
She was also being invited to multiple bars and events to sing for them, like the reason why she was there now.
"Come on, you guys. Be kind, maybe he really got something up on his sleeve."
Rocky scoffed.
"This guy? If he had something up on his sleeve it would be dirt."
"I told you I can buy something here."
"See? He said he can buy something.
You should at least give him a chance."
Grace was so kind in the eyes of these guards now.
If she didn't come, he would have found himself in the trash like what they told him.
"We'll let him prove himself, but he won't come inside here.
If he really has the money, which is impossible, then we'll let him in."
Grace turned to Andrew with questioning eyes. "Are you okay with that set up, ...?"
"Andrew. My name is Andrew."
"Are you okay with proving them that you can really pay for a VIP?"
Andrew nodded his head.
There were four ranks of VIPs in this bar.
Bronze (100k dollars) Silver(300k dollars) Gold (500k dollars) and the most expensive Diamond(One million dollars).
"What rank would you want to buy? I'll get the POS for you."
"Sure for the diamond."
Without hesitation, he started to enjoy it like a super rich.
Grace was surprised, while the two guards shook their heads because they knew where it was going.
They didn't even know why Grace was entertaining this insane man.
But nonetheless, Grace smiled and nodded her head.
"Okay, wait here for me. I'll just get the POS for your payment. Ready your card."
Andrew was left outside with the guards intently glaring at them.
They were angry that he was making Grace run an errand for him.
If they could have just let him in, then he would have paid for it himself.
"If this turned out to be all just a scam, I'll beat the hell out of you,"
Rocky said grimly.
"You're crazy. You can't even pay for two sticks of cigarettes and now you'll fool us here?"
Jimmy added. They asked him to buy them cigarettes before but they couldn't.
After a while, Grace came back with the machine in her hand.
Andrew took his card from his wallet and inserted it into it without any doubt.
Four pair of eyes watched the machine process his card.
Andrew was nervous as well.
He needed to prepare himself in case the system was shitting on him.
However, only after ten seconds, the POS dinged and a receipt came out of it.
Andrew had just paid one million dollar for a VIP.
And the two guards were shocked beyond words.
