“Good morning.” Anna said, poking her head after she knocked.

“Oh, Anna. Come on in.” The therapist smiled at her, immediately shifting the laptop aside and standing on her feet. “I’ve been expecting you.”

“Yeah, I know, I apologized for the lateness.” Anna chuckled.

“You’re just five minutes late.” The therapist smiled at her and told Anna to enter the office.

“That’s more than the amount of the thin line between life and death.” Anna said, chuckling.

“That’s true. Have your seat.” The therapist urged her.

“How are you ma?” Anna asked.

“I’m very well, thank you.” The therapist answered, “how are you too?”

Anna sighed deeply, “I don’t think I know, I’m not even sure.”

“Take a deep breath, and do you care for coffee or water?”

“Water please.” Anna answered, she took a sip of the chilled water that was filled from the water dispenser.

“Are you better now?”

“Yes.” Anna cleared her throat, “with Lecter, it’s been a lot.” Anna started.

He definitely enjoyed every second of that. “I never thought that I would have passionate sex with a guy I just met.” She said. “I wasn’t expecting to have sex with the owner of a brothel. Not that many guys can say they experienced that.” He said and she chuckled. “That is true” She agreed, “Though, I do got to ask. Mia was on her way to work and being bored at home, Anna decided to do the needful. It was the least she could do, considering the fact that Mia was not only hospitable, she was also a very sound supporter of hers during those difficult times. Anna was reminded of the times that she had spent hating Mia, and the number of times that Mia had spent hating her as well. Thinking back, it was as if everything was vanity.Anna decided to give life a try. What could go wrong?"Excuse me, could you help me?" Anna asked the security man at the gate who shot her a glare. She was taken aback by this act of pride but she decided to remain calm."I think I lost my purse. I was just holding it and now I don't know where it is. Could you assist me in looking for it?" She asked again but the man sighed."Why wouldn't you lose your purse? A clumsy thing like you would definitely lose more than her purse," the security man snapped at her. A

"What do you mean that you're going on a date with Anna? Lecter James's wife? The same woman that I have been trying to caution you about?" Pete yelled at Bruce while he got ready for the date. The tuxedo he wore made him look more grand, like he was attending some party instead."This is precisely why I didn't think it wise to inform you. We are just going as friends. Nothing there. Just as friends who want to enjoy each other's company" Bruce replied. Pete laughed so hard he snorted."Don't tell me you actually believe this shit!" Pete exclaimed. "What the heck is wrong with you Bruce? In what universe does it ever end well when a man is pining after another man's wife?" "I'm not pining after her. Anna needs my comfort and I am going to give it to her. I understand your fears but nothing bad will happen. I can assure you," Bruce replied and grabbed his phone."Oh, yeah? "Let me guess, you were bugged too about how this is such a bad idea?" Bruce questioned and Anna laughed. She glanced at him and wondered what made her so readable."What gave it away?" She asked him. His eyes were fixated on the road but he still managed to steal a glance of her. She looked beautiful in the dress. Despite covering up, Anna's body banged hard enough to still intrigue Bruce."For starters, I am a detective, and a very good one at that. Plus, you had the same look which I assumed I too had when I stepped out of the house. My friend literally gave me a Lecture on how this was a terrible idea," Bruce said to her. Anna laughed so hard she almost lost air.Bruce was glad he could make her laugh. All that was left earlier was the cold stares and melancholic gazes."As if we are not adults," she added with a chuckle."You look beautiful when you smile. Maybe you should do that more."
