Chapter 163

Jared slowly drove back home after his meeting with Lecter. His mind was filled with so many options and he constantly pondered on how the whole events would turn out. Lecter had promised to help him, to be there for him, but would that happen?

Would Lecter truly keep his word? However as far as Jared was concerned, there was only one way to find out.

Jared drove straight into the street that led to his house. It was already dark and there wasn't a lot of people on the street. But then, a car suddenly pulled up in front of his car and Jared was forced to hault.

"Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing? Are you out of your mind? He yelled at the driver as he stepped down. Jared approached the car , furious. Then the car door slowly opened and a person stepped down.
