Bruce was rejected and kicked out by Raphael earlier. But he didn't stop trying to find a way to convince him.

Bruce stood outside the dimly lit nightclub, his heart racing with anticipation. He had been trying to get a meeting with Raphael for weeks, and finally, he had received a message to come alone. Bruce took a deep breath and pushed open the door, scanning the room for any signs of trouble.

Raphael sat at a table in the corner, sipping a glass of whiskey. He looked up as Bruce approached, his expression unreadable.

"Bruce," Raphael said, his voice dripping with disdain. "I'm surprised you had the guts to show up."

Bruce ignored the jab and took a seat across from Raphael. "I'm here to ask for a second chance," he said, his voice steady.

Raphael laughed. "You think I'm just going to forget what you did? You worked with John to arrest me, Bruce. You can't be trusted."

"I know I made mistakes," Bruce said, his hands spread wide. "But I've changed. I'm not with the police anymore.
