Chapter 20
Lecter approached the four walls of Morris’s house for one thing and one thing only: to get the truth, regardless of the cost.

It didn’t matter to him the means he’d have to go through, he just had to know or he felt like he’d go insane soon enough.

It kept him up at night each time reminding him that his father hadn’t truly been appeased and his murder would remain an unfortunate event.

He couldn’t tolerate that, he wasn’t sure his father would, either.

So that was the reason he was here with his men, right in front of Morris’s home, ringing the door bell.

His insomnia and nightmares had gotten to him and there was a rage that was slowly building.

A maid opened the door, eyes widened on seeing him, “Hello, sir,” She said softly but he didn’t miss the cautious look in her eyes, as if she was on guard against a predator.

“I came to see Morris, tell him that I am here.” Lecter said in a cold time.

It didn’t matter to me how cold he sounded.
