Chapter 89

Kerry had boarded a flight to see Ivan for she was furious over how things had turned out in the last couple days. She quickly took a cab from the airport and then drove to his mansion. When she got there, the guards wanted to send her back but someone walked towards them with a limp.

"Hold it. Don't you know who she is?" The woman asked the guards.

"Forgive us, lady florence, but we are under strict instructions from Mr Ivan never to let anyone in for the meantime," one of the guards said to Florence. She sighed.

"I'm pretty sure that Ivan would have your head if you sent her away. She is Kelly Braxton, yes. The same Kelly Braxton. Adopted sister to Ivan Braxton. Do you want to send his family away?" Florence quarried the guards who gazed at each other with uncertainty.

Reluctantly, they opened the gates for Kelly to drive in. Florence approached her car and gazed in from the window.
