Lecter was curious to know what the police had found on the crime scene. He was one hundreds percent certain that someone was messing with him at that point. "And how do you know it's Lecter himself? It could have been a coincidence, or perhaps a resemblance," Billy, Rand's friend said to him as they enjoyed wine. Since Lecter fired Rand, all he did was drink and smoke till he passed out. **Days later** Venita was explaining to the cashier what she wanted to do with the loan she was requesting, and she was starting to get frustrated that even with her status, she was being refused.
