EXPOSED

"Ughhh!" Her eyes fluttered open but she was instantly hit with an acute headache.

"Aargh!" She screamed, as her consciousness slowly started to creep in. She was acutely aware of the heaviness weighing down her legs and the way her tongue felt so dry as if it had been rinsed. It felt like a very thick fog had settled over her mind and her thoughts had all been clouded. She felt so disoriented as she tried to put everything together. Everything in her body felt so chaotic and she couldn't piece together what was going on no matter how hard she tried.

It felt like every attempt to get back herself was useless. Nothing seemed to work at all, and it scared her so much. Her mind was still grappling with the shock and horror of the situation when she tried to lift her hand and hold her forehead which seemed like it would fall off from the pounding headache, but that's the moment she came to the horrifying realisation that she couldn't move her hand or any part of her body.
