Lots of love... keep voting for Roshan, and his story. I'm planning to release an audio book soon! ^^ Tell me your comments guys
Everyone turned their heads to Roshan waiting for him to say something to them. He couldn’t possibly be the coward that Heath was talking about. He had saved them a lot of times. Heath quietly watched the scene from where he sat. It was just as he planned. He wouldn’t even have to do anything, he would just watch them destroy each other from the inside. It was quite hilarious to see the little faith that they lacked. “Roshan, if you have a way for us to get out. It’d be much better for you to do it now. It’s your father we are after.” Roshan listened as Lans spoke, but he couldn’t tell them about his powers. He would have to explain a lot, and they would not even understand him. How could he explain his abilities when he couldn’t even absorb mana. “I have nothing to say.” Heath smiled when he heard Roshan’s words. Why was the boy so adamant on keeping his powers secret?Well he didn’t have much time to waste. They would find out sooner or later. Lans was about to say something
Roshan opened his eyes and he saw a wide blanket of darkness surrounding every corner of his vision. There was a heavy feeling on his chest, one that brought about a feeling of weakness. He felt suspended, causing him to glance around, only to realize that he was alone in this void space.Eventually, his memory clicked, and an image was painted in the centre of his head. He had visited this place before, but he wasn't placed in such a position. The last time he came here was when his system had shut down after the Arkon's tournament fight with Siera.Looking back now, he realized that he had truly come a long way, and he was a lot stronger than before. However, last time, his parents had visited him, but why weren't they here now?"Wake up, Hero." A deep reverberating sound resonated in the space of his void causing him to want to cover his ears but he couldn't move his limbs. His bones were stiff and he could barely do a thing.Roshan tried to picture the last fragment of his memory
“My father?” Roshan looked at Heath as the boy in white paced around the laboratory, holding the bloodied scalpel in his hand. “Your father was a killer.” Heath’s voice rang out. His eyes held no emotion as he spoke.“I know.” Roshan replied back to him. His teeth was clenched as he struggled to keep his focus on Siena and calculate how much time she had left.Roshan’s father being a killer wasn’t new to his son. He was a war veteran, he would gotten rid of the head on the neck of the enemies and Roshan as his son had grown to accept it. “...” Heath was silent before he let out a low chuckle. The sound of the scalpel hitting the ground echoed in the laboratory.“So you know he killed my parents?” Heath’s eyes grew cold, and for the first time, Roshan was sure he saw a strange emotion on Heath’s face before it quickly switched back to normal. “My father would never do such a thing.” Roshan replied. He had trust in his father. The man was too simple to harm his fellow human unless h
Hera turned around in an instant, grabbing Lans’ collar, and she slammed his back onto the cold hard wall. Lans looked at her directly in his eyes before bringing his head low. It was his responsibility to take care of them but he had done a terrible job. He couldn’t bring himself to say it to Hera’s face. “Answer me, Lans.” Hera growled at him. “Heath took them away. He had taken away Siera as a ransom and a bet saying that if we found Roshan’s father here, he would release her.” Lans replied her. “And you let him?” Hera’s hold on Lan’s collar tightened, and cracks started to surface on the wall. She felt a touch on her hand, and looked up, it was Read. “Give him a break. We had no choice.” Read said with a low voice. Hera sighed and released Lans. “Where is Roshan?” She asked, her eyes moving towards Lans.“The coward was taken after we lost consciousness due to a gas.” A soldier muttered but Hera heard the words. “Coward?” Heath questioned, looking at the soldier that had sp
“We need to get out of here immediately.” Roshan blurted out in a rush. He straightened his body but he still couldn’t get rid of the pain. “What do you mean, Roshan?” Hera looked at him. She had picked up Siera who had just woken up, and placed her on her shoulders. “A Daegi is out there.” Roshan uttered, a look of worry etched on his face. This was something that would kill them. “A Daegi? “ Hera’s eyes shook. She clenched her fist, she didn’t know if she could face an actual Daegi while she had to protect these kids. The last time she held off a Daegi was because she summoned him, but would she be able to do with the current amount of mana she had left. “How many rings did you see?” Lans asked, he didn’t know why but he just couldn’t get rid of the suspicions he had for this kid. “I… I don’t know. We have to go see it ourselves.” Roshan spoke, and he moved to his father. “I’m so happy you are saved.” Roshan said with a smile and he placed his arms around Old man Fyi, giving
“Welcome.” Heath uttered with a wry smileRoshan only stared at him with boiling anger powering the intensity of his fire.“Shut your mouth, Heath. We aren’t done yet.” Roshan yelled furiously.“I’m done with you, Roshan. Weren’t you meant to be leaving? You had your chance to go and now you returned because of your selfishness. You neglected your friends and family to come back here, Roshan.” Heath cried out, and laughed.“Roshan, you fool. You have been blinded. This is what I like. A hero who thinks only about himself. I’m so happy that you are finally true to yourself.” Heath grinned widely. His face contorting into one of pure madness.“I said, Shut up!” Roshan moved swiftly, putting his attributes to use. A sword made of fire immediately appeared in his hand, burning fiercely as it mirrored the raging emotions of its wielder.Roshan brought the sword with full force but Heath had already moved away. He had simply vanished just like the way he had vanished from the laboratory the
[Opponent detected] [System Quest: Obliterate Opponent] [Quest Reward: Evolution] Roshan’s sword glowed brightly with fire as he stood with his back against Hera, holding her own bright light longsword. They both had to face different opponents, and their opponents weren’t giving them a breathing space. “Let’s go, Roshan.” Hera said, and at the sound of her voice. She activated her spells “Light element: Judgemental Rods.” At the sound of Hera’s voice. A dozen thick rods formed in front of her, ready to launch at the Daegi. “Would you need any help?” Hera said, directing her question to Roshan. “I don’t know yet.” Roshan replied calmly. He really didn’t know if he would be able to kill this thing but he definitely wanted to kill it. ------ He just wanted to get the satisfaction of killing it, the one thing that was the cause of his parents’ death. Roshan knew that this was not the exact creature that killed his parents. This was a human who was trapped in the body of this m
Hera realised she would not reach the boy in time and he could be slapped to a paste by the Daegi.“Wake up, Roshan!” She said to the boy, as she saw him plummeting into the ground but he didn’t move. She knew she couldn’t wait anymore. She had to activate judgement now.“Sacred Sword Projection: Judgement!” Hera cried with a loud voice and the light long sword in her hand grew bigger, its edges blazing with a loud amount of holy light. The sword moved towards the Daegi in an attempt to slice in two from the top.The Daegi felt a tingling sensation, and it turned around, ignoring its target on Roshan’s body.It immediately blinked away from the area of contact trying to move from the attack but Hera persisted turning her body and the sword. It was time to give this Daegi a piece of her mind.Something at the back of her mind told her that she wouldn’t be able to fully destroy this monster just like she did to the Tre-ant but it was worth it.“At least these people can escape with me
