As the nightfall approached, Logan's determination only strengthened. Taking a deep breath, he dialed the number Baton had used earlier. Baton's voice answered, gruff and expectant.

"Where should we meet?" Logan inquired, his tone steady.

Baton, after a moment of contemplation, responded, "Where history was made years ago, Logan. The factory. Be there at midnight."

Logan, hanging up the phone, felt a chill run down his spine. The factory, a place that held both the echoes of his father's tragic end and the impending confrontation with Baton and his gang.

Planning with Sam, Logan urged him to inform the police but emphasized the need for a diversion. "Tell them to focus on the factory. It's where Baton wants to meet. It might buy me some time," Logan explained, the weight of the decision evident in his eyes.
