Chapter one hundred and twenty

As Logan faced Dave, the air grew thick with tension. A cold sweat coated Dave's palms as he stared into the barrel of Logan's pistol. "Follow me, now," Logan commanded, the steel in his voice leaving no room for negotiation.

The gun pressed against Dave's back as Logan guided him swiftly through the mansion. Every step echoed with the weight of impending consequences. The intensity heightened as they reached the basement door, the threshold of secrets and deceit.

On the descending steps, Logan continued to keep the gun trained on Dave. He tossed him the key, a metallic glint in the dim light, and warned, "You open that door and remember Dave, No games."

Dave fumbled with the key, his hands shaking. The metallic jingle seemed deafening in the quiet basement. "I won't play games," Dave insisted, fear and defiance in his eyes.

The door swung open, revealing the confined space where Pete and T-bone awaited their fate. Logan entered, gun still in hand, locking eyes with Pete. "How are the
