The day of the mango harvesting finally came. Dana woke up at 3:30 am, and she's all set and ready at four o'clock in the morning. She's getting used to waking up early in the morning, and she's starting to like it.
She went to the kitchen to make herself a cup of hot coffee. She's drinking her coffee while enjoying the coldness and peacefulness of this morning...At exactly 4:30 in the morning, Anthony is finally at their doorsteps, waiting for her because they are going together to the mango farm. Before she and Anthony can finally go to the farm, her Aunt Maggie gave them last-minute reminders."Please watch over my niece, Anthony." Aunt Margie reminded Anthony."I promise I will take care of her, Aunt Maggie." Anthony made a promise.Dana almost rolled her eyes heavenward. Her Aunt is really an old-fashioned type of person, but she can't really blame her. She knows that she's just trying to protect her.AAnthony have been visiting her house every now and then, as he continues to romantically pursue Dana. Dana is getting used to Anthony presence, and she's really enjoying his company, and somehow... She's starting to have special feelings for him. On this rainy afternoon, Anthony and Dana are having a heart-to-heart talk... "I want to be very honest with you from the start, that's why I need to tell you something. Just promise me that you'll give me a chance and listen to me with an open mind..." Anthony started, while looking so serious. "Okay, I promise." Dana sincerely promised. "I think it's time for you to know my family's real identity." Anthony faltered on his words. "You're starting to get really mysterious, Anthony. Stop with this suspense and just tell me everything." Dana insisted. "I'm sorry for keeping a secret from you, Dana. But I hope it won't change your mind about me." Anthony ner
One year have passed. Dana heaved a sigh of relief when the Japanese Immigration Officer gave an approval stamp on her passport. She's been real worried while she was standing on line because she's been hearing lots of horror stories on the internet about the strict Immigration process and interview inside the Japanese airports. There were some cases wherein tourists will be asked to fly back to their own countries if something is missing in their documents or any problems with their travel papers. It's good to know there were no issues with her own documents. She can relax now and enjoy her whole trip in Tokyo, Japan... When she finished all the things she needed to do,she's now walking with luggage cart, and she's making her way way towards the Arrival Area. She looked around as she tried to find Anthony and his twin sister Andrea from the crowd of people waiting at the arrival area. She lets out a big smile when she saw the two of them excitedly waving at her.
Dana noticed the white towel rolled up and placed on a wooden square. Anthony seemed to notice it too so he spoke again. "It's called "Oshibori," Dana. You can use it to clean your hands before eating." he said, as he unfolded the wet white towel and wiped it on his hand. Dana imitated what Anthony did. It was comfortably warm, and she feels better. She couldn't help but be impressed by the things he saw in Japan, which is why he was sure he would enjoy his stay here. Their conversation was interrupted when a waitress came with a tray full of food. When the food was placed on the table and when the waitress left, Andrea spoke this time. "They call it "yakitori," Dana. It's grilled chicken on a stick and it's one of the famous Japanese foods.” she relayed. Dana took a chicken stick and bit into it. "Hmm! He is delicious!” “—and this is the deep fried chicken they call “Karaage.” This is the salad so that we d
Angela suddenly looked at Anthony."Oh, I'm okay. Congratulations to the both of you, and I am looking forward to your wedding. And hey, don't forget to call Mom and Dad and tell them the good news!" she suggested. "Oh, right. I almost forgot about them. Thanks, Angela!" Anthony quickly opens his phone to do a video call to their parents to tell them the exciting news... When Angela glances back to look at the mysterious man with the camera, he was already nowhere to be found... "Where are you, Mr. Cameraman?" she asked to herself, while feeling a pang of disappointment... ================================ The next day.Angela slowly opened her eyes. She saw the bright sun shining in her room. She whispered a prayer of thanks for this wonderful winter morning in Japan. Afterwards, she finally got out from her bed. She noticed that it wasn't too cold today because the sun is shining brightly. Af
Angela gasped in obvious admiration when she finally enters the National garden park. There are so many different varieties of plants and flowers, and she doesn't know where to look first! But she decided to take a series of photos as much as she can on her smartphone so that she can upload them all on her social media accounts. She was busy taking photos, but she suddenly stops in a halt when she saw someone standing just a few meters away from him. Angela's heart started beating like crazy because she feels quite familiar with the figure which is standing far away from him. He's actually holding the very same camera model, and she knows that it was the very same man that she saw at Tokyo Tower... Angela suddenly feels like the time has stopped, as she watches the man walking towards her. Everything seems to be like in slow motion, but it doesn't really matter. "We met again." the man started talking, as he smiles down at her. "Yes. We saw ea
Few moments have passed. Dane and Angela are having a good time talking to each other while having a cup of delicious coffee and amazing pastries. The two of them are trying to get to know each other... "Well, you already know my name... I'm the second child in our family, and my parents told me that I'm such a wild child, which is actually true. I like going on endless adventures, I want to take the risks in everything because I believe in that you only live once, so you should try to get out from your comfort zone and enjoy what life has to offer." Angela started talking about herself. "Hmm, I think you're playing safe here. Is there something else that I need to know? Like your dark side maybe?" Dane smilingly asked, in a teasing manner. Angela's smile suddenly vanished from her lips after she heard Dane's question. And yes, she does have a dark secret that mainly involves her father, Antonio Vivaldi, and her dearest Uncle, Carlos
Year 1980. The basketball championship finals is finally over. The basketball match between St. Charles High and St. Matthew High has finally concluded. All of the audience are now walking their way out from the indoor basketball court. After a few minutes, the venue is almost empty, except for the losing team and Dana and her best friend, Benjie... They are both feeling sad because their school, St. Charles High School, was unable to get the championship title and trophy. Their competitor, Saint Matthew High, won in the end, with only a difference of six points. Dana is overwhelmed with so much feelings right now. She feels nervous at the same time because this is the exact day and time that she's been waiting for. This is the day that she will confess her feelings toward someone whom she secretly loves for a very long time. "Good luck on your plan, Dana. This is the chance that you've been waiting for, so don't you dar
After 30+ years. Seoul, South Korea. Van tightly holds the bow string as he tries to concentrate and focus his attention towards the mark. Once he's sure of his goal's distance, he finally lets go of his grip on the string, and the arrow started travelling straight towards the target. He did not take his eyes off from the target. His arrow landed on the inner yellow ring, which means that he got a perfect score of 10. He lets out a triumphant smile while looking at his Coach who is clapping non-stop. With his performance, he has a good chance of competing for the upcoming Olympics, and he can represent his country in the Archery competition. "Wow, I think you're in good shape, Van. You're more than ready for the upcoming Olympics. But don't be too confident, my boy. You still need to give your 101% best in our practice and training, is that clear?" Coach Nick Henderson relayed.
