After twenty years... Natalie Anderson snaps her head up when she saw one of the staff coming out from the Audition Room. She is holding a folder, and Natalie is 100% sure that it contains the list of people who passed the audition. She just had an audition two hours ago for the role of a female second lead character in a big-budgeted television drama series. The director of the said television project wanted to cast new, fresh and talented faces, so that's why she mustered all of her courage to audition and give them everything she got... The almost one hundred auditionees all put their attention to the lady staff and waited for her to speak. At the same time, the lady puts out her portable handheld megaphone and she started making announcements. "Okay, listen up, everyone. The following names that I'm going to call are the people who passed the first screening. Once your name is called, please stand up and proceed to the next room on the right side. "Alright then... You see, I was a poor, struggling actress a few decades ago, back in my middle twenties. I've been to one hundred auditions, because I was always rejected, and I really don't know why. But I am always sure that I always do my best at auditions, so that I won't have any regrets in the end." Leila started remembering the past. "Wow, that's surprising, Mom! Actually, my audition today was the 100th and just like you, I got rejected." Natalie said in utter amazement. "Like mother, like daughter." Nate suddenly made a side comment. His wife and his daughter suddenly glanced back at him, giving him a sardonic look. "Okay, my bad. It was meant to be a joke but it backfired. Sorry, girls." Nate apologized right away. "Just keep the jokes to yourself, my dear husband... Anyway, even though I didn't pass that audition, I went to my 101st audition, and finally I did it. I think heaven had a plan for me because I passed that audition, and it led me to your father and well, n
"Wow, that was a nice talk, wasn't it? Now that everything's out in the open, let's drink and eat much to our heart's content!" Nate happily announced. "But seriously, thank you for being here, Mom and Dad. I feel so much better now." Natalie thanked her parents. "We'll do anything for you, sweetheart." Leila reassures her daughter. The three of them spent the whole night drinking, eating, talking and laughing... ============================== One month have passed. Natalie took a deep calming breath once she saw the male staff coming out from the Audition Room. And as usual, he was carrying a white folder with him, and everyone knew that it had the names of the people who passed the audition. It feels like a déjà vu. But she's secretly hoping that the result will be different next time. She decided to audition for the extra role in an upcoming biopic movie about a famous Broadway actress back in the 50's. She didn't audition for the lead part or the second part because she fe

Back at the Dressing Room. "There. Finally done." Andrea nodded approvingly, while looking down at Dane's suitcases neatly lined up at the corner. "Good work, Andrea. By the way, where's Dane?" Adam asked her, as soon as he enters the room. "He said he's going out for a quick smoke, right?" replied Andrea. "But he's taking too long---!" Adam wasn't able to finish what he was about to say when he suddenly saw something... "What's wrong, Adam?" Andrea asked him, in a curious manner. "Andrea, can you please call Dane on his phone?" Adam suddenly asked her. "Okay." Andrea got her own phone and dialled Dane's number. After a few seconds, they both hear that familiar phone ringtone. And sure enough, it was Dane's phone ringing on the nearby table. Adam picked up Jun's phone from the table. "Just like what I thought." he angrily muttered .He also saw Dane's brand of cigarette pack on the table. "What are we going to do now, Adam?" Andrea worriedly asked. "We still have time ti
At the same time. Venice is still walking towards her destination, but she suddenly stopped when her cellphone rang. He immediately answered the call when she saw her Boss' name on the caller screen. "Where the hell are you? I've been waiting for ages here!" It was her Boss, Audrey Smith, one of the famous novelist in the whole country. She's now working under her as an Assistant. "I'm almost there, Boss." she answered nervously, as she starts to panic. "Did you bring the script? You can forget anything, but not those papers." Audrey warns her. "Don't worry, Boss. I have the manuscript with me." "Then, what the hell are you waiting for?! Get here faster!" Before Venice could speak, her Boss abruptly cuts off the call. She lets out a deep sigh, but this is not a suitable time for her to waste any time. She has to reach the MBN building as soon as possible or else... She might lose her job. At the same time. “Uh, Boss? What do you plan to do with the script? ” Venice mustered all of her courage to ask her Boss, after calming down a bit. "We need to go back to the office to do brainstorming." Audrey gloomily answered. Venice didn't have any choice but to follow Boss Audrey's order. They are going to pull an all-nighter again, and she won't be able to go back home again... ======================== "Warren, you'll be having a photoshoot for a magazine, and afterwards, you're going to meet with a songwriter to discuss about the songs that will be included on your second album." Daniel informed his talent actor, Warren Grant, who was sitting at the back of the car. Daniel looked at Warren at the rearview mirror. He saw him looking outside the car window, and it's obvious that his mind is flying elsewhere... "Is there something wrong, Warren?" he asked him. She was about to call her cousin through the mobile phone when someone called her name. "--- Diana? What are you doing here?" Venice instantly smiled when she saw her cousin. "Well, I just got my salary, and I was thinking of inviting you to dinner, and enjoy a glass of beer..." Diana replied. Venice stared at her cousin, while looking a little bit skeptical. "Why?
