Chapter Thirty-Eight: Connecting Hearts

After doing warm-up exercises, they finally started with the rehearsals. Nate and Celine are called onstage to practice their scenes together.

Once they were finished, Mr. Alford called Nate and Celine to give them his feedback.

"The way you deliver your lines is too strong, Celine. Remember, not too strong nor, not so soft. You should say your lines clearly and with conviction. Am I making any sense?"

"Yes, sir." I responded, while nodding in return.

"And Nate, I think that you were amazing. Your voice perfectly blends well with Celine. My advise to you two, is just to continue practicing. Both of you should practice, even on your free time." Director Alford suggested.

"Thank you for your one-on-one talk, sir." Nate thanked their Director.

As the both of them started going down the stage, Nate suddenly moved closer to me. Then, he whispered:

"Sir Alford is right. We should practice more, just the two if us." he informs Celine.
