Back at the monastery, the newly appointed 7th Elder, Elder Lui, has been facing a number of challenges. A particular group of unknown elders had been secretly causing issues for him one way or the other.

There was a time when the entire water supply channel, that used to go through the maids of Elder Lui was stopped.

Both maids that went to fetch the water were killed and the containers were seized. No one knew exactly what was going on.

Lui discovered that no water was supplied and he was in dire need of it. He sent another batch of maids and this time he increased the number to four from the initial two he sends.

Something similar happened to them. Not only did they not return, but their dead bodies were also actually found.

Because of these occurrences, the other maids didn't want to volunteer to go. Elder Lui discovered the fact that there was an issue and then he decided to go and verify himself, although the maids were scared to go by themse
