“Hi, I’m Eren and I would be hanging out with you guys today.” Eren grinned as he looked at Kane. He was expecting him to look a bit more surprised and disappointed but his expression didn’t change.
After looking at his wristwatch, Kane hung his bag on his shoulders and turned his back on them.
“You’re going to class, now?” Xander asked after he pulled his lollipop from his mouth. “It’s still 5 minutes early.”
“That five minutes would be just enough to spend on my walk from here to there.” Kane continued walking without looking back.
