Kane could feel as if his head was tearing apart as he tried to open his eyes. He groaned in pain as he reached for his head and coiled like a kid in the bed.
“Kane, are you all right?”
He heard a worried voice from behind him but he could not open his eyes from the pain. He groaned louder and held his head tight. Why was the pain not decreasing? Why did it feel like his skull was being drilled in?
“Argh!” He gritted his teeth trying to alleviate the pain even just for a little but nothing worked. The voice that kept on calling him was just making the pain in his head even worse. “Shut up!”
He kept turning on the bed. He was in so much pain that he wished to end it no matter what the cost. Dying would be better than that pain!
“Kane?”
“I said shut up!” he yelled as he covered his head with a pillow. No matter what he did, the pain was still there and it was just getting worse.
