Nineteen.
The next day, Edgar and Edna decided to tell Meyer Jones about their decision to leave his house.

Edna still had cold feet. She had never stayed away from her father and she doubted if her father would let her leave his house and live with a man with her condition.

"I hope he does not give us a hard time," Edna muttered to herself. She put on a reassuring smile as she glanced at Edgar to put him at ease.

Edgar on the other hand was ready and determined to take Edna away from her father whether he liked it or not. He was ready to take Edna away by force.

They were both in the living room, awaiting Meyer Jones' return.

In about an hour, Meyer Jones was back home.

"Dad," Edna called out with a smile as soon as she saw him. She ran to him and hugged him.

"What's wrong?" Meyer Jones asked. His daughter has always been sweet to him, but getting a hug out of the blues was still weird.

"What is happening?"
