The next day at work, Edna met her office cleaner than it used to be. Most times, she arrived at work earlier than the cleaner so her office was always like she had left it the day before.

Edna heard a soft knock on her door, then someone opened the door slowly and peaked in.

It was Sid.

"Good morning, ma'am," He greeted as soon as he stepped in.

Edna said nothing in reply, then she looked up at his face. "Were you the one who tidied up my office?"

"Yes, I am," He replied with a smile. "I saw—"

"I'm grateful but please do not do it again. Strangers are not allowed to walk into my office the way they like. The fact that it is not always locked does not mean a random person can walk in the way they like."

Sid's face fell. "I'm sorry ma'am."

He turned to leave then paused and looked at Edna. "I know you don't need it in any way, but I would be happy if you let me work for you. I can do anything for you. Wash your car, be your P. A. Anything. It took me a long time to get a job. I know I
