Surprisingly I didn’t appreciate the idea of sitting around doing nothing so I went and did the usual exercises.
Some sit-ups, some push ups, some running and so on. During this little physical test I learned that I could jump at least five meters in the air. This confirms that what happened with the colossus wasn’t just a huge adrenaline boost I got from staring death in the eyes.
Then there is the other thing. How I took that laser beam head on with no scratch left on me. It’s almost as if it didn’t reach my body at all, being met with an invisible wall like aura.
As curious as I might be though I won’t be shooting myself any time soon. Learning what all of that was can wait till I'm sure it's safe.

The door led to a set of stairs that goes downward, at the end of the hallway that followed them was an elevator that also lead deeper. Unfortunately this one didn’t seem to work so we had to make use of the emergency ladder to get down. There weren’t any other floors on the way down and after nearly fifteen minutes we arrived to the bottom level. “Beautiful…” That was the only word I could use to describe what we found there. I would always force Iris to read the books I chose just because the title sounded interesting. The tales on Zesion were countless but from time to time we would read about stories from outside.
