On the way back neither of them spoke a single word. The lab was now gone. Even though they found nothing of use in there it still felt like a great loss. Lilia sat down sighing such bad luck. Now, what to do? She thought to herself as she let herself fall on the bed.

Maybe if they search some more they might find another construction. They still have some hope, as little as it might be. They will have to move around more from now on. Possibly not returning to the camp for long periods of time.
