Just as she said I noticed shadowy figures peeking from behind the rocks on the cliffs and small caves left and right. With their presence exposed they stopped bothering to hide and showed themselves in an attempt to intimidate us by their sheer number.

They kinda look like your stereotypical desert dwellers.

[Well this is a desert and they’re its dwellers.]

“Seven…” Lilia looked my way showing a bit of concern.

I doubt they’re anything Lilia can’t handle. We fought anthropomorphic tigers just recently, well, Lilia did, not to mention our encounter with Verta. I honestly can’t see your average gang being anything more than an annoyance so if Lilia is worried then the only reason she has would be me.
