Sector twenty one, Planet Rooster, Gram city, Seven.

"… This isn't… what I expected."

The ship landed smoothly, we got an identity check at the reception desk, paid the entrance fee and got out to the street.

Up to this point everything was automated; slid your identity card here, get a retina scan over there, hold your smartphone over this to pay, everything was done with no human –or any other alien- interaction.

That's why the moment we exited the docks where we left the ship, which apparently is a private aria for each one unlike what you would expect from a space ship ports –or normal ship ports-, the shock came to me with a more disappointed feeling than it should for someone who is out on his first interstellar trip.
