“Rajol Aley…” Lisa spoke, her eyes lowered slightly. “I thought the name sounded familiar.”

“You know about him?” I asked, pretending that I didn’t already hear the entire explanation from my resident ghost.

Lisa went on to retell everything Iris said, adding things about other books she read and confirming that the writer was indeed a synth.

“I see.” Aley nodded. “I’m happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed my books.”

Just in case, I made him show us his ID card to confirm whether he’s really the guy he claims to be. Lilia used her book -smartphone- to check its authenticity, as she has some special accesses as a Zesionien Warrior, and turns out he’s the real deal.

“So you’re a famous writer…” I said.

“Yes.” He replied.

“And you want us to give you a ride?”

“Yes.”
