Ch 6.3

The time has come. Everyone is gathered around the table, but only one of them was sitting.

Taking a deep breath, I slowly walked over.

There is nothing to worry about. I have already tasted it myself.

It wasn’t on the same level as what we ate in Red Ramoul, still it turned out better than what you’d expect from a first try.

I looked into Blue’s eyes and she looked back at me. She seems a bit stiff, her emotionless expression giving in to a hint of fear despite Lilia’s efforts to convince her to not be scared of me. Without saying a word, I placed the plate in front of her and watched as she stared at it for a moment, then gazed up at me.

“We want to know your opinion.” I said then swallowed audibly.

The slice was perfectly cooked. The surface had the right shade of brown and the inside was a sparkling cherry red overflowing with juiciness. Blue is still a child and obviously likes her sweets, because of that we opted to not use the spicy sauce for her plate, adding the mild one in
