Sector twenty one, the ZSFCO 0303 search and rescue craft alpha 02, Lilia.
After fighting it for so long, I let the suppressed sleepiness out through a long yawn. My eyes struggled to stay open.
Seven doesn't seem to share this state, sitting there silently facing a wall. Sometimes he would look at his palm, opening and closing it a few times before turning static again.
It doesn’t take much to understand what's on his mind, and I can't say it wasn't on mine either. As I’m forcefully reminded of what happened a few hours ago my whole body heats up and I instinctively cover face with both hands.
"Uuu…."
It was so sudden I couldn't react. First he stole my lips then started touching me in places I usually don't like to be touched.
"Took you long enough. How harsh can you be, ignoring my existence like that?"The first thing to do when seeing a ghost is to not admit you’re seeing a ghost, that's basic knowledge. But this isn’t the first time you showed yourself. Right, Iris?Standing in front of me, or should I say floating in front of me, is a girl with short blue hair and golden eyes. She wore a dress with a design similar to those Lilia has. Her face is cute, however beside being a bit short her body is too thin and even considering my preferences I couldn't help but feel disappointed when looking at her flat-"Hey…" glaring down at me with death in her eyes she asked. "You were about to call me flat weren't you?"Well, I don't know what else I should-
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Iris. "I will be back, Iris." Who would have thought that watching someone talk to your grave would be this painful. Lilia, together with her new human friend, was making a last visit before leaving the planet. A last farewell. Even though I'm coming along, being forced to watch this scene unable to do anything breaks my heart. Lilia turns my, his way, the weak smile on her face brought tears to my eyes. Before I realize it she started walking away. "Are you okay?" Asked Seven, the human male I'm currently sharing a body with. Yeah… I'm fine. I answered silently. He looked at the grave. His thoughts are loud and clear to me, and I could tell he was waiting for a sign. Idiot or not, this human noticed my existence and theorized my current state from what little happened here the other day. What makes him an idiot is his ignorance, thinking I would stay behind when I'm able to tag along. Not that I have much of a choice. I’m trapped with him
Sector twenty one, ZSFCO 0303, Seven. So, what do you think?“Yeah, we’re screwed.”I asked my only companion for her thoughts on the situation already knowing the answer. Obviously, we’re screwed. I didn’t think much of it when I boarded the rescue vessel but I soon understood that I had practically walked into the military base of an alien empire. Me, a male human with no public records and no permission to travel through the routes governed by the Zesioniens. It’s only natural that they’d assume the worst. The cell I was thrown in is quite spacious to be for a single inmate, however with the exception of my ghastly friend no one else is with us. There is a single bed and a box like chair. Everything is painted white and has this sci-fi aesthetic to it. The cell door is just a half transparent green energy barrier just as you’d expect. It will probably turn red if I try and touch it.“Don’t forget, they noticed my presence as well.” Said Iris, floating on an invisible bed.Oh yea
Whatever reason I had started seeping away bit by bit. I knew very well that I’m slowly losing it. What is this feeling? It’s just like during my fight with Verta. Something about this situation rings alarming bells in my head. I thought I understood the severity of those circumstances, however it’s almost as if I’m just beginning to really get it.I have to find Lilia. I have to get to her right now!"Hey! You lost your mind?!!""HELL YEAH! WHO THE FUCK CARES!!!"My hand reached toward the energy barrier making the cell door, and the moment I made contact electricity surged through me as the green color turned red."Prisoner! Get away from the door!" Said some voice. Probably from the speakers placed in the cell’s corner along with the security camera.“Like I give a fuck about what you want. I have to get out of here!”I continued pushing but was met with the same force negating my advance. The more I tried the more that force grew. As I pushed everything suddenly went blank and o
I feel sick… "Ugh…" This feeling, it reminds me of that day in summer... or was it autumn? I think it was a really grey colored day. Probably a not so sunny school day in the middle of November. It’s one of those days I would rather stay in bed after hours of trying to climb the ranking ladder of some game. But a perfect attendance record was the deal I made with the devil –my mother- to protect the precious shelter and its internet connection which she sold her soul to another devil –my father- so she could pay for. Anyways, my family isn't important right now. The fact that I decided to head to school after an all-nighter is. It’s easy to tell at which level your concentration would be after such n
Is he playing dumb?“A bunch of aliens pointed guns at me then threw me in a cell without allowing a chance for a talk. But more importantly you separated me from the only person I can trust. You expect me to go stay calm when I don’t know what you might be doing to her?”Well, that isn’t exactly right. After all Iris assured me they won’t dare mistreat Lilia.“So you were worried about lady Lilia, I see.” Blitz said, carefully examining my expression. “You seem to be telling the truth for the most part. I guess what we heard about your memory lose is true then? You don’t seem to know any of the names you heard nor do you have the awareness of someone who’s in trouble with the “Well, with that out of the way shall we move to the main subject?” Tapping twice on his floating window the commander flashed his white pearls. “But first, would you like something to drink?”I paused for a moment, turning in Lilia’s direction. Since we ate the same stuff up till now it’s safe to say Zesionien food is edible for humans. However fruits from a forest and things served in a space ship aren’t the same. I don’t know what kind of chemicals are mixed in so I’m hesitant to try anything.“A glass of water should do.” I said.“I see. What about mister Hank and the young lady?”“I shall have some white leaf brew.” Said Hank.“I will have some as well." Said Lilia.A few seconds later box like drones arrived with the drinks. I got my glass of water while the other three got cups filled with steaming green substance.I guess it’s just tea huh.[Well it’s hot leaf juice. You could say it’s the Zesionien counterpart of your tea, though the taste might be different.] Iris explained.Last man on earth when there is no earth? Ch 2.2
“Mister Seven. No, I suppose it is lord Seven now. First of all, let me congratulate you on acquiring planet Gorgola. As an executive manager of the Stoneheart conglomerate I would like to say I’m looking forward to working on its development with you.” Though it felt like he wants nothing but for me to disappear, Hank Stoneheart, Lilia’s older brother, swallowed his emotions and bowed his head. We had moved to another room to talk business. His dead eyes seemed a bit livelier than before as he immediately pulled out his space smartphone and placed it on the table, a number of windows appearing from it. The company that belongs to Lilia’s family sure is big for them to do business on such level huh? “Yeah, you can’t even begin to imagine.” Iris said, her hollow smile and foggy eyes telling me I’ve been underestimating the matter. Iris had manifested herself taking the seat to my left while Lilia sat on the other side. The three of us faced the goliath, though it appears only two
