Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, the laboratory ruins, Lilia.
We finished investigating the burned room. Although I say investigate, all we did was stand there and look at the scorched walls and the ash on the ground. It looked like it has been a while since it happened. We couldn’t confirm whether whoever, or whatever caused the hole downstairs came up here, but after a while O.H.S 007 started explaining a hypothesis he came up with.
“Looking back at what little we know, I’m eighty percent sure the guy missing from the original human samples is the one responsible for this.” He said “He burned all the scientists watching the experiment that’s being conducted on him then fled by creating that hole. Since there are no weapons capable of this level of destruction among those we found in the arsenal I have a feeling that the e
“What’s wrong?” I asked, taking a step back as well. “This thing is still functional!!” Seven shouted. A second later a huge metallic hand struck the place he was standing in. If he hadn’t been fast enough in dodging it he would have been laying flat in the crater that formed there. The mechanic doll was rather slow, probably because of the lack of maintenance, but the force which it struck the floor with shouldn’t be taken lightly. A direct hit could cause severe damage. For humans, at least. It’s dangerous, but nothing I can’t handle. “Hey! Would you like me to take care of it? Or do you want to fight it on your own?” This might be a good chance to see what he’s capable of. From what he said before, Seven
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Lilia’s space craft. The night had fallen by the time we got back to the camp, but we had no power to look up and see the enchanting sight of the aurora lights.Lilia was stressed out from what happened earlier, and who would blame her. She thought the only other person on this whole godforsaken planet was going to die and that she would be left all alone once again. Her eyes were full of tears as she smacked me with the flat part of her spear, saying “DON’T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!!!!” with an angry tone.Seeing the extraordinarily beautiful Lilia act in such a cute -although a bit violent- way made my heart skip a beat. Having any girl that would cry for you is a blessing, especially if she is as cute as Lilia.I smiled internally as I remember her face at that time: her teary eyes, her blushi
When I came out of the shower I noticed that Lilia had prepared another bed just like mine on the opposite side of the room. Both seem to be a built-in feature as you can put them away simply by pressing them into the wall once you’re done. The blankets and pillows were different though. It seems Lilia intends on sleeping in her bed instead of the front seat this time. The shirt and shorts were probably her pajamas.I took that as a sign of her trust in me growing. Of course I’m still far from gaining any affection points, but I’m still happy I’m making a little progress.Later that night my deep sleep was cut short. There was no reason for it but even though my eyes felt heavy I couldn’t go back to the dreamland. The night was still young and the aurora lights
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Lilia’s space craft, Lilia.“Ya~wn…”It’s been so long since the last time I had a good night of sleep. Ever since I got trapped here, two to three hours became my usual. Five when the day was going my way. However today seems somewhat different.Judging by the light coming in from the front glass I would guess the sun was up for sometime now. I have been in bed more than eight hours for the first time in my life, and I don’t feel like leaving so I slowly descend back into the comfort of my pillow.“That’s strange… my comfy pillow isn’t comfy anymore.” I murmured to myself, my throat feeling dry.I look at the not so comfy pillow, the view was blurry but cleared soon enough. The not so comfy pillow had turne
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Lilia’s spaceship, Seven. We decided to postpone the ruin/laboratory exploration for today. Lilia blamed it on me, saying it was because of me refusing to wake up until past noon. She on the other hand got up early in the morning like usual, did what she usually does and “definitely didn’t sleep in!” like I did. She was too focused on that part.In her voice I felt a hidden intent telling me not to mention anything about yesterday, refusing meant my life would be in danger. It’s not like she would really kill me but it’s still possible for It to happen by accident so I better keep my mouth shut.“What are you doing?”“Hm? Ah, I’m trying to shave this beard, it’s been getting on my nerve for some time now.”I heated some
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Lilia’s spaceship, Seven.Surprisingly I didn’t appreciate the idea of sitting around doing nothing so I went and did the usual exercises. Some sit-ups, some push ups, some running and so on. During this little physical test I learned that I could jump at least five meters in the air. This confirms that what happened with the colossus wasn’t just a huge adrenaline boost I got from staring death in the eyes. Then there is the other thing. How I took that laser beam head on with no scratch left on me. It’s almost as if it didn’t reach my body at all, being met with an invisible wall like aura.As curious as I might be though I won’t be shooting myself any time soon. Learning what all of that was can wait till I'm sure it's safe. The dangerous stuff aside, I was wondering if I'm ca
“Gh…my body hurts all over.” Groaning in the shower while hot water did it’s magic on my body I wondered, where things went wrong? It was a stupid idea. Simply a stupid idea. When Lilia offered to help me train I didn’t think much of it and agreed on the spot. It was then that the way she treated me changed. What I had to do is simple; keep dodging her spear until dinner time, which was six hours away. And no joking, I can’t count how many times I sow the angel of death. He was sitting there drinking a cup of tea in a relaxed manner waiting for me to slip like it has already been decided.I didn’t even have time to analyze the effects of fast movement and gravity on bouncy body parts and really short skirts. For
Iris and I were many things. We were together since preschool so you could say we were childhood friends, but Iris was closer to me than any of my sisters had ever been. She was my partner during our Warrior training as well and we spent most of our time together. Iris was the cutest girl around and most boys in the academy had a crush on her, but that attracted bullies and for the extremely shy Iris fighting back was difficult. You see, she was an orphan for as long as she could remember. Her parents died in an accident which meant she had no one to rely on. Add that to being born in a weak body despite being a female and you’d realize how vulnerable she looked to those with malicious intent.I on the other hand was the energetic type who didn’t hesitate in beating anyone who meant harm for her but ends up in a lot of trouble because of it. Iris was always there to help me de
