Sector twenty one, Planet Rooster, Gram city, Seven.
That was... a really eventful night. Part of me argues that nothing actually happened, or at least what I expected to happen didn't. But it was a good night. Yeah, not disappointed, not at all.
It was stressful, but good.
Anyways. Since this place is thousands of light years -millions, maybe?- away from earth I never expected to have a decent meal with a name actually related to what it's made of. Hearing about something called pineapple pie dropped my expectations, wore leather boots and stumped them repeatedly. Lilia has a sweet tooth so I thought it wouldn’t be strange for her to order dessert first but knowing what little I know about Zesion food I tried not to link sweet sounding names with sweet food. And then it arrived.
Hey, ghost girl.“What is it, human?”Wasn’t Lilia acting a little strange?"You think so?"Yeah, not only did she avoid eye contact, she barely said anything when I spoke to her as well."Maybe sleeping with you wasn't so comfortable after all."Probably...Following Lilia’s order I quickly left the bath. The moment I stepped out she handed me her book and went in to get her morning shower. The book had an ongoing call with Blitz Firestone, commander of the Zesionien Space Fleet Center of Operations 0303, which was the military base closest to both Gorgola and Rooster.&
It was no joke when Lilia said there isn’t much to see on Rooster. As a tourist spot, Gram city fails horribly. I wonder if it has something to do with Zesioniens being the dominant race.Well, not that we’re here to play. It seems like I’m about to get some special secret training from the ghost of a dead warrior which is why we must make sure no one sees us. Having went through the map Iris decided on two locations we could go to.The first is somewhere outside the city. However to get there we have to go through the slums to reach the outer walls, which is dangerous in itself, but the grand canyon surrounding the city is a known hangout spot for lowlifes and going there is just asking for trouble. The second is the obvious choice, Gram city’s central park.As the name suggests
The number of people passing us decreased the further we went into one of the paths behind the statue and at some point we were left completely alone.“Strange…”What is it?“I mean, it’s only normal since Lilia isn’t here, but don’t you think you had far fewer eyes following you?”Now that you said it…Guess my presence is too insignificant, not worth paying attention to. I already knew my beautiful wife was the one drawing all those eyes, but it’s somewhat disheartening to know no alien has an interest in me.“The one that’s been flowing us since we left has retreated as well.&rdquo
Sector twenty one, planet Rooster, Gram city, Seven.“I’ve been thinking of asking you this for a while.”As we were on our way back Iris brought up something important.“What do you plan to do going forward?”I don’t know. A part of me wants a quiet life with Lilia but I doubt getting there would be easy.“Aren’t you supposed to investigate what happened to humanity or something?”Nope.“What about your lost memories?”I don’t really care about those.&ldqu
Sector twenty one, planet Rooster, Gram city, Seven.“… Safe…”The word escaped my mouth as I rest my back against the door trying to catch my breath. I don’t know how it went over my head but it seems that not only did I enter the wrong room, I also stopped at the wrong floor.Hey stupid ghost! Why didn’t you say anything!? You know I can’t read Zesionien!“I didn’t notice at all!” Iris shouted back at me. Her face was still beaming red and for some reason she was panting as well. She doesn’t need to breath so why? Were you planning to just watch like that? To think you wouldn’t bother stopping me… Moments after the door to the bathing area closed behind her, Lilia crouched down and covered her face screaming internally. What did I dooooo!!!!She knew from the heat that her face must have been painted red, unlike her husband who maintained his composure barely showing a reaction. The two of them had already slept together for the second time so something like a hug shouldn't be that big of a deal, yet she still felt such level of embarrassment just from having him embrace her like that. No… he might’ve looked fine but…There is no mistaking that reaction. “Seven?”Hearing Lilia call his name snapped him awake. From the looks of it he had almost dozed off as he waited for Lilia to finish her bath, which seemed to take much longer than usual.“No, I’m still-"He really was at his last round against the sand man. Not only did he not notice when she entered the room, it also took him quite a few seconds before his eyes picked up the change in her appearance. Her usual sleeping garment consisted of the combination of a plain T-shirt and shorts. Nothing much seemed to have changed at first look, she wore a different shirt that's all. However when his eyes went down to what he considers the most delicious parts he was met with a surprise. The shirt Lilia wore
"Hmm... this one is no good." A floating window displayed the photo of a gorgeous blonde haired girl. She looked back with her sharp blue eyes, her rosy lips forming a faint smile. The girl was so charming one could easily mistake her for a goddess. An existence like her would’ve been enough of a cause to start wars in ancient times. She was the very image of the princess many heroes would sacrifice their lives to have the chance to impress. But this princess wasn't human. That’s what the dark brown horns on her head seemed to say. She is a female Zesionien, an alien from a planet that isn’t anywhere near earth. That fact did little to diminish her outstanding beauty. On the contrary, Seven didn’t believe a human could came anywhere close to her. Those were the thoughts of a man infatuated by his alien wife."You think so?" He asked, biting into a slice of pizza."Yeah, my hair is in the way."About an hour ago Seven went through hell for playing with his wife's emotions. Using the
