Sector twenty one, planet Rooster, Gram city, Seven. My mind wasn’t in the best of conditions. I did my best to keep running as Lilia pulled my arm but I almost ended up falling several times. The crowds of muscly men and horned women opened a way for the golden haired beauty the moment she came in sight. The numbers decreased little by little and soon enough we reached somewhere with no people around.“This should be fine.” Lilia said, letting go of my arm.We stopped inside a back alley near the central park. Although it didn’t seem like it at first, we’ve actually been running for quite a while. I didn’t notice at all because my mind was occupied with the girl leading the way. Or to be more accurate, I was lost at the hand holding my arm. Before she could say anything I grabbed Lilia’s right arm and held it up so I could get a closer look. They are gone. The burns from a little while ago are completely gone without a trace left behind. I wasn’t imagining things, right? She was def
Sector twenty one, planet Rooster, somewhere outside Gram city.“What did you say!?” Someone yelled into a small screen.“We’re sorry boss, we can’t do it…” “It’s impossible, boss! This is beyond what we can!”It was time for the usual mission report, but instead of the good news he patiently waited for all he got was a call from his subordinates asking to be relieved from their job. The two appear to be terrified. It seems they witnessed something that triggered their danger sense. He wanted to dismiss it as them just being cowardly, but if something managed to scare them to this extent then it’s no laughing matter.“Boss, we can’t handle this.” Said the first.“We thought we can find a chance to take the book but there is no way we can get close to that thing!”He had given them a simple task; watch the synth who has the keys to Gorgola and steal them if the chance arises. The only problem that stood in their way would have been the Zesionien Warrior accompanying the synth, but ev
Sector twenty one, Planet Rooster, Gram city, Lilia. Yesterday was nerve-wracking. I ended up angering Seven. As usual he would put on that straight expression of his and talk nothing of it, but I knew it was still bothering him to say the least. For his hair to turn white not long after our conversation, there is no need for further proof. Then there is the incident after he escaped. It would’ve been catastrophic if he attacked those people. Seven’s strength exceeds mine so I doubt anyone on this planet could stop him. Thankfully I arrived at the right time and managed to put an end to it before the worst happened. I was right about Seven hiding his true emotions behind a mask. However rather than being angry at me it seems he was afraid of me hating him because of the injury I received while waking him up. It took a few minutes to regenerate completely but by then he had already sneaked out. I find it funny that he thought something of that level would leave a permanent scar
Sector twenty one, Planet Rooster, Gram city, Lilia.Done getting my new spear I reunited with Seven who chose to wait outside. I was relieved to hear no stranger had approached him when I was away, afraid I would find a pile of beaten up strangers waiting for me outside.Anyways, for the first time since we came here Seven requested we go to a certain place. Not only did he learn how to use his book, he is now able to read the map as well. I only taught him how to use it when calling me so I find it difficult to believe he learned more on his own.Maybe he already knew how to read Zesionien? There is a lot we can't be sure of with that memory loss of his. Obviously the best way to know is to directly ask him, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.What Jar said. I know it’s not true, I can't let it effect me. To doubt Seven, who was there for me when I needed someone, when I was left all alone after Iris died... "... umm... Seven..." I have to make sure, I can't let those thoughts co
Sector twenty one, Planet Rooster, Gram city, Lilia."Are you ready to order, sir, milady?""Hmm... I would like some of the Ghnem you suggested, extra spicy sauce please. As for what to drink I would like some Tina juice." Seemingly done choosing Seven looked away from the menu -after looking at the pictures, since he can’t read- and shifted his gaze to me. "What about you, Lilia?""Um... uh..."It was only a matter of time. Seven told me on several occasions that he craves for meat. He said it isn't strange for humans to consume other unintelligent life forms, but I never thought the day when I would sit on a table to taste another being's flesh would ever come."Milady, you don't have to worry." The four armed red skinned waiter said, apparently he is well aware of my concerns. “Though they are few in number, we do have Zesionien customers. Our humble house is proud to serve dishes suitable for all tastes with little to no negative effects on any of the species residing on this pl
Sector twenty one, planet Rooster, Gram city, Seven.“We meet again.” The danger alarms in my head went off instantly. I don’t know how I failed to notice her until now when she has been near us this entire time. That woman is here. The one who had no problem throwing herself on me when I entered her room by accident.“Hm?” Lilia tilted her head. “Do you know her, Seven?”Shit shit shit shit SHIT!!!I didn’t anticipate this at all! Why is she here!? Does she hold a grudge against me for running away that time? Does she plan on ruining my relationship with Lilia because of that!?“We ran into each other near the hotel.” I said, putting on a I will fucking kill you if you try anything smile and looking at the mysterious woman.“Yes. We ran into each other at the entrance.” Said the woman, gazing at me with narrowed eyes. Good thing she understood my intentions. I don’t know what Lilia’s reaction would be if she heard I walked in on a naked woman when she was gone. It’s difficult to i
Sector twenty one, Planet Rooster, Gram city, bystander."Cough…. Cough cough…"As I pushed away the table resting on top of me the coughing started and refused to stop.Just a moment ago we were enjoying some Begri before the sudden explosion sent us flying along with the furniture."Urgh… shit I think I broke a finger…"Oh for the…!!! Not my upper left arm!! This will surely effect my work…"RRRYAAAAAHHH!!!!"The pain from arm was numbed by a high pitched screams as several other customers emerged from underneath the ruble. The Bortokali, bathed in sauce and dust, screamed and cursed trying to clean themselves. The hair that covered them from top to bottom is now contaminated and for those from that race which take unimaginable pride in their appearance this situation must be their worst nightmare coming to life."Sigh…."Damn you and your ridiculous hair! At least you came out of it uninjured! Now that I look again it seems I’m the only one whose share of misfortune had caused brok
Sector twenty one, Planet Rooster, Gram city."A banda? A banda you say?" For reasons unknown to Seven, Giran's fear turned into anger. But he couldn’t shake the feeling that the being in front of him isn’t someone to mess with."Are you mocking me, kiddo?"Unlike anyone he faced before a glare from his bloody eyes drew no reaction from the human. He remembered the presence the felt moments ago. It was something he had experienced only once before, it wasn’t something anyone could exude. This is a big problem. While the rest of his crew fought the urge to run, Giran observed the human carefully. I need to report this to the clan head.He remembered the report he received the night before. The two he sent out to keep an eye on the target were so terrified they begged to be relieved from the mission. The target is someone who went rampant on a military base belonging to Zesioniens then walk out the next day. Someone who’s able to scare male Herara just by standing in front of them.T
