Ferdinand got very angry that he couldn't get Cynthia to sign the investment contract; her shares would be worth more than other investments.

After mingling, praising, and having high hopes for Ferdinand, the party ended, and everyone left.

Ferdinand made his way back home when he collided with Ms. Riley, who gazed at him like she could swallow him.

"Riley, what was the reason you were not at the ceremony? Cynthia always took you everywhere," Ferdinand asked.

"If you make me more angry, I can rip off your mouth; you are the reason Miss is angry at me. She even forbade me to follow her," she yelled at him.

Ms. Riley had been the one supporting Ferdinand and made Cynthia believe him. Cynthia blamed her for Lapland's insult.

"I'm sorry, I really thought my father called him," Ferdinand said.

"From now on, I will poison Miss's mind from listening to you; I will make her hate you so much that she wouldn't want to see you. You know it's something I can do," Ms. Riley said and turned to leav
