Mlynar waited for some moments, wondering what had just happened. Was she truly his mother? He looked at the heirloom once again.

"Why does my mother not want me to be with Cellinina?" he uttered to himself. Then, he remembered that he must be quick to the auction hall.

He rushed back inside his car and drove away. After a few minutes, he arrived at the auction hall. At the entrance, he told the security guards the password, and they showed him the section where the human auction was taking place.

It was a narrow passage, and as he walked to the hall, someone suddenly pushed him from behind.

"Get away from the road; our boss wants to pass," a huge man said, one of the two bodyguards accompanying a bald, short man.

Mlynar glared at them and stood on his feet. "You don't have any right to push me away."

The bald man laughed, "you should be appreciating that they didn't break your leg."
