"Dad, I know you are lying to me like you always do. You knew Mom wasn't here; you know she is alive. You asked who told me, and you just instantly pretend like you know nothing," Mlynar barked at Mr. Nearl, who truly knew something but didn't want to tell Mlynar to avoid more calamities.

"I told you, I know nothing," he insisted. Helena was surprised at what she was witnessing; tears streamed out of her eyes. All these years, she thought her mom was buried here.

Elena muttered, "Dad, tell me… I don't understand anymore. I was here when Mom was buried, wrapped in white clothes and buried here. Why was she not here again? What happened?"

"There is nothing I can tell you. If you want to know, do the findings by yourself, and don't disrupt the Nearl plan because of your recklessness," Mr. Nearl said in a harsh tone and left the two children.

Mlynar looked at the empty grave, shocked. He didn't know how to react, and his eyes caught something inside the grave.

He dipped his hand into it.
