‘I believe anyone who wear a mask has something uncanny to hide. Why does he wear the mask?’

‘But didn’t he save you?’

‘He obviously wanted to rape me or kill me himself. Why else did he murder Mr. Sparrow? I’ll end this conversation with these words, Brendan; a true hero has nothing to hide. If he truly a hero then let him take off that mask and let us shower him the praise he deserves.’

When he walked out of the school building he found Owen and Simon sitting in the backseat of his blue sports car. Todd stood with the door open for him, his expression stern as usual.

Simon’s eyes were still red from crying and his gaze repelled with Owen’s.

Not a word was uttered to another on their journey.
