The Bargain

The prison. Agranah.

"Huh?"

Kie woke up from sleep. Twas evening. He could feel the orange rays of the moody sun splattered on his face through the little bars of window cut out of the thick wall.

But that was not all. That wasn't the reason he had woken up. He could feel a sudden urge within him. An urge he could not place or throw away. An urge he could neither discard nor create a room for.

Then suddenly, he felt his system acting of their own accord. First, twas his legs bringing up his frame to an upright posture.

Then his neck suddenly turned in the direction of the bars of the prison. His bewitched legs then started to lead him towards the door. He wanted so much to stop himself but he couldn't.

He didn't want to resurrect the problem he had with the guards before he'd been put to sleep by force earlier. The guards were still there. Five of them now, to restrain him or have him chopped down if he tried anything fu
