"Is that what it seems like?"

Kie kicked gently at Talia, his horse, urging her to increase her pace, yet in the most stealthy manner it could go. Kie wanted to catch up with the man he'd seen few minutes earlier.

At first, the man was tending to his sandals which seemed caught up in twigs. Something no one could ever explain but the victim. And when the man had looked back and saw a rider of a horse coming, he'd looked away but then looked back again as though he'd missed something. And after the second look, the man had left his sandal stuck in the twigs and started running, with one foot strapped, the other bare.

Who wouldn't had thought of that suspiciously?! And since then had Kie been trying to catch up with the man. And he already had an idea of who 'twas. But he wanted to be sure. For all 'twas, he might be wrong. 'Tmight even be a new foe 'a marriage to the princess' had earned him.
