Chapter 29 Emperor William’s Visit

“Yeah, it’s my fault,” said Una, “actually, you should not have touched me as I have a lot of bags of poisons in my pocket.”

Suddenly, Tolly remembered that he had patted her shoulders just a short while before.

“You touched me a while ago, so that explained why you fainted. See, your fingers are still a little bit swollen.”

Raising his fingers before him, Tolly saw they were swollen like steaming buns now.

“Oh, my god,” said Tolly in surprise, “what am I supposed to do with them?”

“Don’t worry,” said Una apologetically, “I’ve got antidotes.”

Quickly, Una took out some white pills and handed them to him, “take these and you’ll be all right.”

Without any hesitation, Tolly quickly swallowed them. In a few moments, all the pills worked inside his body. And his fingers bounced back to normal. At the same time, he did not feel dizzy at all.

“Great,” said Tolly, “thank you, Una. Your pills have wonderful effects.”

“It is I that should thank you, thank you for not blaming me for that,” said
