022: Like Comrades.

Zayn looked up quizzically. The cashier looked back curiously and asked, "Sir, I noticed you have been groaning in pain. Is it something serious? Do you need any help applying the ointment?"

His words caused Zayn to pause. He looked at the ointment and then back at the cashier.

"No, thank you," He smiled at the young cashier boy. "I'll do it myself."

The cashier nodded and informed him that the payment had been completed successfully.

He grabbed the ointment then and turned to leave when a loud cry suddenly rang out in the small pharmacy.

He didn't mean to watch but the cry spiked the inquisitive side of him so he stood and watched.

A man soon emerged from the backroom he never noticed earlier. The man was followed by a woman whose face was badly bruised.

Though she was in a horrible state, she still grabbed onto the man's pants and pleaded.

Zayn didn't realize at this moment that the cashier boy behind him was shaking with... Is that fury?
