CHAPTER 8

All the way to the airport, Lyon was lost in thought and Mr Avi, being a responsible butler, made sure not to call out to him or disturb him in any way.

Soon they got to the airport and boarded the plane,Lyon immediately whipped out his phone and went to his contact.

He met many missed calls from Scarlett and unconsciously smiled. Scarlett has always tried to be mean but she's a very soft person underneath that mask.

He called her back immediately but then she didn't pick up.Lyon thought she was mad ,she had been calling him for more than a week repeatedly and he's just responding,he would be mad if

someone did that to him as well.

Soon the plane took off and Lyon actually slept off as well,the butler looked at his relaxed face and smiled. Lyon might not have the face to enter the list of the most handsome men in the world but he's really handsome and he looks so much like his father.

Mr Avi picked up his phone and looked at the message sent by his master,he replied at once "yes sir,we are heading back now,the young master refused to see you" he typed then added a rough detail of what happened last night and what amber tried to do as well before turning off

his phone.

They arrived the next day and after resting for about three hours at his penthouse,Lyon dressed up and drove to the school hostel by himself.

He got a lot of attention when he drove in and many couldn't believe their eyes when they saw he was the one who drove that car but many being blind birds sneered and said he must be working as a driver now.

Lyon didn't have the time to pay attention to them and just went into his hostel room,he met Jason drinking alcohol,this surprised him, Jason was never the type "Hey" he called out and Jason looked at him "you are back,are you here to pack your things already?" Jason asked but Lyon shook his head .

"Oh" Jason sounded a little disappointed "why are you drinking?" Lyon asked "jasper went too far this time around,that bastard" Jason said angrily.

"Jasper? What did he do?" Lyon asked "that bastard raped my little sister all because I helpedster all because I helped

you to the hospital" jasper yelled all of a sudden.Your little sister? Who is she?" Lyon frowned deeply " a freshman,her name is Janet,same surname ,why did you ask?" He asked.

"I'm sorry this happened because you helped me" Lyon said " yes,you should be. I shouldn't have helped you,that bastard even posted her nudes on the school website " Jason looked completely broken.

Lyon couldn't take it anymore " I'm sorry,Jasper will pay for everything,I promised " he said and went out of the room angrily,that guy has really gone too far this time around.

He drove to the restaurant he worked, planning to see Scarlett, thank her and also told her he would stop working but he was in for a surprise,the restaurant was half damaged and closed down.

He was surprised,he quickly took out his phone and called Scarlett but no reply again,he was starting to get worked up,what if this was also jasper's doing??

He quickly called Mr Avi "can you help me find out what happened to the Sc.Restaurant?" He asked, sounding anxious "of course young master,I will get back to you in a minute" Mr Avi said

and the phone hung up.

A minute later, Mr Avi called back"the restaurant was destroyed with a bulldozer four days ago, three were injured during this, namely, Miss Scarlett, Mr…" but Lyon cut him off "who did it?" He asked angrily. 

" A man paid the bulldozer owner to do it,his name is Bryan Collin,the men he sent to pay were Noah and Cyrus and it was also this Bryan that took Miss Scarlett to the hospital " replied Mr Avi `` damn!" Without another word,Lyon hung up the phone.

It wasn't a minute later before he called again"which hospital was Scarlett taken to?" He asked "Bryan took her home already,his address is…" after getting the address,Lyon drove off.

He soon got to the address and went to the gate immediately,he was stopped by the estate security but he simply told them he's here to see Bryan, Bryan was quite popular here so the security allowed him in especially after seeing his car,he simply guessed he was one of Bryan's many friends.

He drove his car and stopped right in front of Bryan's house,looking at the building with a cold smile on his face. He would have destroyed this house if Scarlett wasn't inside.

He walked to the doorstep and rang the doorbell a little annoyed. The door was opened by Noah who was really shocked to see him,then he sneered.

"What are you doing here?" He asked while Lyon roughly pushed him out of the way and went into the house,his strength surprised Noah and it took him a few sec to realize Lyon was already inside the house.

"Hey!" He yelled angrily and rushed to attack Lyon but he was met with a powerful blow to the face,Lyon looked at him irritatedly.

"Where's Scarlett?" He asked while Lyon groaned in anger while holding his face,his sleep was bursted by the punch just now.

"How dare you?" Noah rushed to attack him again and Lyon met him head-on this time around,he beat Noah until he could hardly move from the place he was.

"What's all the noise about?" Cyrus came out of a room looking kind of annoyed but he stopped the moment he saw Lyon and then looked at Noah who's groaning on the floor. 

He couldn't help but take a step back, isn't this the same guy they beat until he was in a daze,how did he beat Noah to such a pitiful state, Cyrus knew Noah's strength surpassed his,so for Noah to be beaten to such a state meant the other side can even beat him to death.

"What's the commotion about? Noah , Cyrus,did someone come to find trouble?" Bryan walked out of another room,half naked, he's shirtless .

"You?" He was surprised to actually see Lyon in his house,he wondered how he knew this place but when he saw Noah,beaten and completely injured and unable to even say a word,he was overcome with a sudden fear.

"What are you doing here?" He asked "where's Scarlett?" Lyon asked back instead and Bryan glared at him.

"I will count one to three ,if you refuse to tell me where Scarlett is,I will beat you up worse than I did to him" he pointed at Noah.

"Who do you think you are?" Bryan was suddenly overcome by anger,how dare this pauper threaten him? He can easily order for him to be killed.

"I asked where she is,I want to make sure she's safe and sound before I destroy this place just like you destroyed her restaurant," Lyon said.

Noah and Cyrus were shocked and even Bryan,how did Lyon find out they were the one behind this? They did everything secretly and behind the scenes as well.

Bryan tried not to show any emotion and yelled instead " how dare you lie so blatantly? How could you say such a thing,I even rushed to save her life after I found out she's trapped inside" Bryan said.

"Of course, because you didn't know she won't escape immediately but tried to alert everyone inside" said Lyon emotionlessly.

"Stop lying! How did you find out? Did someone send you to ruin my reputation? Are you here to defame me? How did you find this place,you were clearly sent by an enemy " he yelled anxiously while glancing at the closed door behind him.

"Sent? Do you think I need anymore to send me here? Or you are just anxious because you don't want Scarlett to know what you did?" Lyon raised an eyebrow.

The door behind Bryan opened and a pale Scarlett walked out ,Lyon was shocked to see her pale face but not the expression he expected,she seemed mad but not at Bryan but at him. What did he do??
